Jamsilsaenae BBQ buffet with grilled kimchi wraps: Muhan Paldo Daepae

I was craving meat so badly today that I ended up going to an all-you-can-eat BBQ place! When you want to eat a ton, nothing beats a buffet haha. Since you can enjoy the meat plus all kinds of side dishes and a self-serve bar, this is my Seoul buffet recommendation!

Where is Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch, and when is it open?

Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch is located at 57 Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, 1st floor, Unit 102, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea, and is open daily from 11:00 to 24:00. Paid parking is available in the building, and you can also park in front of the store.

Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch is right near Exit 3 of Jamsilsaenae Station! It's genuinely close to the station, so accessibility was great. Right from the entrance, the sound of meat grilling and the delicious smell hit me, and I was already excited haha. There was no wait, but it wasn't empty either — plenty of people around!

17,900 won per person: same price for lunch, dinner and weekends

At this Seoul buffet, Muhan Paldo Daepae, you can enjoy premium all-you-can-eat shaved pork for ₩17,900 per person! Lunch and dinner prices are the same, and even weekday and weekend prices are the same! Most all-you-can-eat BBQ places charge different prices by time slot, so I liked that this place charges the same across the board! If you're a meat lover, you may have heard of this place before!

There were several types of meat like shaved pork belly, beef brisket, and frozen pork belly, and cuts you don't usually see at all-you-can-eat BBQ places, like hanwoo-fed shaved pork and shaved pork trotters!

You can even cook ramyeon (instant noodles) here! A must after finishing all the meat, as dessert basically...

The regional sauce bar: Jeju maeljeot to Gangwon-do perilla oil soy sauce

The sauce bar at Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch had a really huge variety. Wait, is this not a malatang place...? The number of sauces was like something you'd see at a malatang restaurant!

What was especially fun, true to the name (paldo means "all eight provinces"), was being able to try sauces from different regions. From Jeju maeljeot (fermented anchovy sauce) to Gangwon-do perilla soy sauce, there were all kinds of regional sauces ready, so eating the same meat with different sauces made each bite feel new.

There were also wrap vegetables like lettuce and perilla leaves, so whenever I got a bit sick of eating just meat, wrapping it up gave me a clean, refreshing bite!

With scallion shreds, kimchi for grilling, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and garlic all set out too, I was ready to eat!

The meat quality was really good, and the sizzling sound the moment it hit the grill was pure art. Since the meat is thin, it cooks fast, so I didn't have to wait around hungry — I could eat it right away, which I loved.

With so many sauces available, it was great being able to dip into this and that!

Ah... wrapping grilled kimchi, bean sprouts, and meat all together was so delicious!

Everyone, please make sure to grill the potatoes... I never knew grilled potato could taste this good...

Scallion ramyeon, self-made fried rice and a slushie to finish

Once we'd mostly finished the meat, it was time for ramyeon~ (the true finale is the fried rice though~). One tip for the ramyeon: grab a small handful of scallion shreds and add it in... seriously so good...

Finishing up with self-made fried rice~ You just grab ingredients from the self-serve bar and make it yourself! Stir-frying it with plenty of kimchi and dried seaweed flakes made it absolutely delicious.

I was seriously stuffed, but I felt like I'd regret it if I skipped the fried rice, so I stir-fried it up anyway haha.
