After work, I took my parents to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch for a hearty meal. I'd only had a light snack of garaetteok (rice cake sticks) at lunch, so I was starving. It's a hot spot near Beomgye Station in Anyang where I got my protein fix and a feast for the eyes from the stylish interior.

What's the atmosphere like at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch?
My first impression of Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch was a sleek, spacious room that feels like an art gallery. Walking in on a Friday evening with my parents, tired from the week, that atmosphere was the first thing I noticed. The whole place is wide and pleasant, with an open feel.

Further inside, soft jazz drifting through the room made everything feel calm and relaxed. With 76 seats in total, it's a big place, and group seating is well provided for. We sat in a slightly dim, cozy spot with warm lighting, perfect for chatting comfortably, and I was totally won over from the first moment.

Menu and prices at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch
The menu covers the full range of Western food: pasta, risotto, steak, pilaf, pizza and salad, and the prices were gentle too. The table was neatly set with plates, wet wipes, tissues, a spoon, fork and knife. It felt like being treated as a guest, which put me in a good mood before I even ate.

True to its reputation as a good-value restaurant serving high-quality food at reasonable prices, the prices were really kind.

For protein from meat and a balance of carbs, we ordered shrimp basil oil pasta (₩16,000), chicken steak (₩18,000) and a seafood tomato risotto.

The complimentary bread after ordering
Once you order at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, the first thing to arrive is warm bread served with balsamic oil. I was famished, and dipping the hot bread into the oil soothed my stomach. It felt like it would help prevent a blood sugar spike too, which I loved.

Then the main dishes arrived one after another! When the table filled up, the sight and smell overwhelmed me and I couldn't help smiling.

Seafood tomato risotto: add a little water if it's too salty
The seafood tomato risotto at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch was generously loaded with plump shrimp and mussels, with a strong scent of the sea. The tomato sauce was rich and deeply savory in every bite. However, it was a bit strong and salty, so midway we poured in a little water and mixed it, which got the seasoning just right and made it much milder.

Chicken steak (₩18,000): what comes with it and how it tastes
The chicken steak at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch comes with 4 pieces of tender, golden-grilled chicken and crispy-outside, moist-inside fries. It was prettily plated with pungent wasabi, salt, grilled mushrooms and one cherry tomato.

Dipping the meat in the sweet and spicy chili sauce served alongside was outstanding. Salt was provided separately, but since the risotto was already on the salty side, I didn't need to dip in any extra. The plain savoriness of the chicken and the sauce worked wonderfully together.
Shrimp basil oil pasta (₩16,000)
The shrimp basil oil pasta at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch had a subtle green basil pesto aroma, plenty of plump shrimp and golden-grilled garlic.

I enjoyed how the fragrant basil and nutty oil blended together, but my companion said this dish was also a little strong in seasoning. Overall the flavors are bold and on the strong side, but it's a crowd-pleasing, addictive taste, and my whole family wiped their plates clean.

Is Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch good for parents or dates?
Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch seems a rare place in Anyang where you can enjoy a sleek, gallery-like space and good Western food at this price. Looking around while we ate, I saw all kinds of guests, from families bringing their parents like us to couples on sweet dates.
It's fine for everyday brunch, lunch or dinner, and just as good for a special blind date, an anniversary, a family gathering or a wedding invitation meetup. Just keep in mind the seasoning is a little strong, and you can enjoy a great meal with pleasant, friendly service. When you want both value and atmosphere with stylish jazz in the background, I'd 100% come back!
