Hi, this is Yenion •⩊• Today I visited Gapposo, a Japanese restaurant near Gasan Digital Complex Station! 🍣 I'm always debating where to go when I'm craving sashimi or sushi, but I've finally found a great Japanese spot in Gasan~!

Where Gapposo is, opening hours and parking

Gapposo is located at 144 Gasan Digital 2-ro, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, 1F Unit 106, Hyundai Terra Tower Gasan DK, South Korea. Hours are 11:30 - 22:00, closed on Sundays, and parking is free underground at Hyundai Terra DK Tower.

The space felt upscale yet cozy, with that classic Japanese restaurant vibe, and the tables were spaced generously and kept tidy, making it a great spot for a weekend date or a family meal!

What comes in the 49,000 won weekend set for two

Gapposo offers everything from aged sashimi to sushi and various Japanese dishes, and after some deliberation I ordered the weekend set for two (₩49,000)! It's a great-value menu perfect for two people to enjoy on the weekend, and it's Gapposo's signature weekend set 🍣❤️ Menu tip: if you want to enjoy even more sushi, go for the ₩59,000 set which adds 6 more pieces👍🏻👍🏻

Here's the full spread of our weekend set for two (₩49,000) 🍣✨ The menu was so varied and the portions so generous that I'd definitely recommend this as a great-value spot in Gasan!

True to its reputation as a great Japanese spot in Gasan, the moment everything was set on the table my jaw dropped and I grabbed my camera right away. Eel rice bowl, kaisendon, sushi, futomaki, karaage and udon — just from the ₩49,000 set alone, the portions were incredibly generous and satisfying for two people.

First up is the dish that stole the show visually — the eel rice bowl! 🍱✨ The moment I opened the neat square box, thick, glossy eel was generously piled on top of the rice.. 🤤

I picked up a piece of eel with my chopsticks and it was so plump and soft! 🥢 The sweet and savory special soy sauce glaze had soaked all the way through, and paired with the sweet rolled egg, the combination was perfect!

Pro tip for eating it right: pile eel, julienned ginger, egg and wasabi on top of the rice and take a big bite — you won't be able to stop eating..! An eel rice bowl good enough to be its own standalone dish, included as part of a set.. 🤤🤤 Definitely a Gasan eel rice bowl spot worth its salt, both nourishing and delicious!

Which fish tops the kaisendon

Next up was the colorful showstopper, kaisendon (seafood rice bowl). Fresh, same-day seafood was packed densely on top, with tuna, salmon, raw shrimp, salmon roe, eel, egg and more piled generously over the rice!

I scooped a bit of rice and topped it with a piece of aged sashimi, and it melted the moment it hit my mouth.. 😳😳 No fishy taste at all, just a clean, savory flavor that had me gasping in delight with every bite... ✨ Definitely a solid kaisendon spot near Gasan Digital Complex Station 🐟👍

Sushi and futomaki: the best part of the set

Gapposo is known as a great sushi spot in Gasan, and the futomaki (thick seaweed rice roll) and sushi were so fresh and delicious that I wanted to order more of them on their own🤤🤤 These were, hands down, my favorites!!

Chicken karaage and the udon that ends the meal

The final item is a treat that no Japanese restaurant menu is complete without — super crispy chicken karaage (Japanese-style fried chicken)! 🍗✨ It had a hint of sweet and spicy flavor with a touch of kanpungi-style seasoning, and it was genuinely an unexpected delight

And to finish, udon! After all the clean flavors of sashimi and sushi, cooling things down with refreshing udon was the perfect way to wrap up our meal at Gapposo, a great Japanese restaurant in Gasan haha

From the eel rice bowl and kaisendon to the sushi and karaage, every item was generous and beautifully presented, and I was genuinely happy the whole meal 🍣✨

At ₩49,000, enjoying this high-quality full Japanese course with such great value and atmosphere made this a standout Japanese restaurant in Gasan.
