Ciment Chungnam National University Branch (씨멘트 궁동충남대점) is a budget-friendly Western restaurant in the Gung-dong university district in front of Chungnam National University in Yuseong, Daejeon. At a seat by the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking green street trees, the writer had Toowoomba shrimp pasta (12,000 won), a half-and-half pizza of American cheese and chipotle shrimp (14,000 won), and a chadol usamgyeop pilaf (fried rice with beef brisket and thin-sliced beef belly). With student-friendly prices and food and atmosphere better than expected, Ciment in Gung-dong is a place worth returning to whenever you crave Western food.
