The place I visited is 'The Foot Shop' near Suneol Station, on the 3rd floor of Daedeok Plaza, and it's about a 3-minute walk from Suneol Station, so it was really accessible! For parking, you can use the building's underground lot — I drove and parked easily haha.

Inside The Foot Shop Suneol: why the ventilation made a difference

As soon as I walked in, there was a subtle nice scent and everything felt calm and tidy, which made me feel at ease :) One thing I personally liked was the ventilation system! A lot of massage shops have treatment rooms without windows, but The Foot Shop's ventilation was so well set up that the space never felt stuffy — overall it felt clean and well-maintained :)

There was a wide range of treatments to choose from — not just full-body care, but also a growth pain treatment for kids and optional add-ons, so you could pick whatever fit what you needed :) I went with the 'sports massage'!

What are the changing rooms and showers like?

There were separate changing rooms for women and men, and best of all, showers were available too! Being able to shower before and after the treatment made the whole experience even more comfortable :)

The changing room wasn't just a space to swap clothes — it was decorated in a clean, stylish way overall! (Even the changing room can look this nice...!! haha) I changed into the provided clothes and headed to get my massage :)

The hallway from the changing room to the treatment room was quiet and calm throughout. Going further in, there were quite a few treatment rooms, ranging from single-occupancy to double-occupancy spaces. The treatment rooms were also kept clean, so it felt like I could relax comfortably during the treatment :)

From the foot bath to the full-body sports massage

The treatment started with a foot bath first. Soaking my feet in warm water gradually made my whole body feel more relaxed. Warming up the body before the massage helped release the tension little by little, so I could go into the treatment feeling at ease :)

Then came the full-body massage! Rather than a soft, sweeping touch, it was more of a firm, moderate pressure that thoroughly worked out the tense spots. My neck and shoulders had been especially stiff lately, and my legs get tired easily, so I appreciated that they worked through the whole body carefully without skipping anything. The pressing-and-releasing feeling on the tense areas felt really satisfying — personally, I thought it was a great, thorough session :)

The Foot Shop, visited near Suneol Station when my body was feeling stiff! I got a thorough treatment from the foot bath to the full-body massage, and with the changing rooms, showers, and ventilation system all well set up, the whole experience was comfortable overall. It's a great place to visit whenever your body feels heavy and achy these days :)
