Sensitive-skin facial in Bundang, Seongnam: Terra Basic gypsum pack

My skin got absolutely wrecked from not being able to get any care while I was in the US, haha. I couldn't just leave it like that, so the day after I landed back in Korea I ran straight to Terra, an esthetic near Sunae Station. I'd even booked the reservation while I was still in the US — total power-J moment >.<✨

Terra is apparently well known as an aroma massage shop in the Bundang area, especially around Sunae Station. The interior is super clean and stylish, and the orange lighting gave the whole place a calm mood. Since it's a one-person shop you get complete privacy, and because it's 100% reservation-only, booking ahead is a must!

Consultation and facial prices at Terra

After arriving, I had a quick consultation about my current skin concerns. The moment the consultation started, the door was locked, which created a calm, secure atmosphere where I could focus without any interruptions — I really liked that.

There are three types of facial care, and among them I decided to go with the Terra Basic course, which supplies hydration and nutrients for sensitive skin, plus add the Cell-Lipo gypsum pack and mini-peel as options!

Powder room and the EMS foot bath

When I went into the powder room, a robe was already waiting for me, and there was even a hair dryer and dry shampoo so I could fix my hair after the treatment!! Loved that, haha.

Every single program at Terra includes an EMS foot bath! EMS foot bath means a low-level electric current massages your feet, and enjoying it with warm tea made all my fatigue melt away, haha.

About 10 minutes in, the director herself gave me a quick hand massage on my feet!

Step by step through the Terra Basic facial

Before starting the main treatment, she balanced my pelvis and loosened up my scalp and décolletage too. The moment all my tension melted away, haha.

After a gentle, low-irritation cleanse, she applied a hydrating ampoule and moved into LED care. Apparently the LED helps the ampoule absorb better and firms up the skin too. I could really tell she was working carefully and evenly over my whole face, missing nothing!!

Did the Cell-Lipo gypsum pack irritate sensitive skin?

Next she covered my face with gauze and gave me the Cell-Lipo gypsum pack I'd added as an option. Whenever heat started building up during the pack, she removed it right away, so it stayed as low-irritation as possible.

She then applied a vitamin C ampoule good for brightening, a galvanic-infused serum, a nourishing cream, and an essence all over, then did another round of LED to help everything absorb.

Unlike the red light from before, this time it was white light — it felt like the products were sinking in deep and really charging my skin with hydration!

Getting a facial at Terra near Sunae Station after so long really calmed down my tired skin and left me feeling refreshed and full of energy, haha. I've heard great things about their aroma body treatments too, so I might try one of those next time!
