Baby heated humidifier for quiet nights: Sutimt
In short
Sutimt is a heated humidifier designed for use in a child's room in Korea. I cleaned off any polishing residue, ran its automatic cleaning mode, and tested its noise and humidity maintenance overnight. Verdict: it was easy to clean and quiet enough for nighttime use.

The humidifier I had been using was large-capacity, but its tall tower shape made cleaning it really inconvenient—that was the biggest issue. This time, I got to try Sutimt's heated humidifier, which had been getting word-of-mouth for being large-capacity yet easy to clean, with an extra focus on air hygiene.
Why I chose the Sutimt heated humidifier
Sutimt heated humidifier

A lot of people use rice-cooker-shaped humidifiers, but after hearing about an unfortunate accident caused by one that could not withstand the pressure, I had been hesitant to try a heated humidifier myself. The Sutimt heated humidifier was newly designed to break away from the conventional pressure-rice-cooker style, which carries the risk of pressure buildup, so that this kind of issue would not occur.

The Sutimt heated humidifier is said to have a structure that does not trap pressure, and it is designed as a baby heated humidifier that can be used with peace of mind wherever people are present—whether it runs all night in a child's room or elsewhere.
Safety features for a child's room
Double safety lock, steam guard

Perhaps because it is a baby heated humidifier, the lid has a double safety lock designed with children's safety as the top priority. Even for me as an adult, it is not easy to open, which made me feel a little more reassured.
There is also a steam guard, just in case... If the humidifier is set up in a child's room or living room and a child or adult knocks it over so it falls from a table or spills on the floor, it is said to block the sudden release of hot water.
Smart safety system built in

The Sutimt heated humidifier is said to use built-in multi-sensors to detect low-water conditions and signs of overheating in real time. If either occurs, it cuts off its own power for safer use.
Steam tower and cleaning process
Steam tower

Looking at the inside of the Sutimt heated humidifier, there is a steam tower. Rather than inefficiently heating the entire water tank, it is said to use direct central heating through the steam tower to humidify more quickly while saving energy—two benefits in one.
Cleaning a heated humidifier

The Sutimt heated humidifier is said to arrive with its polishing residue already removed, but since I would be using it with my baby, I removed any residue myself and washed it once with detergent too. Although it was a product that had undergone residue removal, a little came off around the edges, so I wiped it carefully; it was cleanly removed after just the first round. (It was clean when I did a second residue-removal pass!)

After removing the polishing residue once, I cleaned the water tank with baby-bottle detergent, taking care not to submerge the bottom section. I filled it with water and also ran the automatic cleaning mode built into the Sutimt heated humidifier.
Key features: automatic cleaning and top filling
Sutimt heated humidifier features

It is a heated humidifier made with medical-grade SUS316 material used in hospitals, said to further improve the hygiene of the air a child breathes. Here are the main features of the Sutimt baby heated humidifier!
- One-touch automatic cleaning makes mineral-deposit care easy
- A sleep mode for quiet nighttime use
- A 12-hour timer
- Humidity settings to help prevent excessive humidity
- Easy operation with the included remote control
- A handle for easier moving and user convenience
Oh, and you can safely top up the water midway through without opening the lid. Since it is a heated model, the lid gets very hot while it is humidifying, so it is incredibly convenient that you can add water without opening that hot lid yourself.

Little bubbles of water on the lid! The lid has eight humidifying vents that immediately disperse pressure, so it is said to eliminate at the source the kind of unfortunate explosion risk seen in the news... Even when the water boils, I felt I could use it a little more comfortably, and I have been using it well.
Still, be careful, careful!! Always be careful! Make sure babies and children do not come close to a heated humidifier!!

My impression of nighttime noise and humidity maintenance
I use it well during the day too, but I use it a lot at night while sleeping to control the humidity. I was worried about noise from a heated humidifier at night, but I was surprised that it made less noise than I expected. The drying sound from the bottle washer we use at home is louder.. haha

It is so nice that it safely keeps the room's humidity steady at the level I set through the night, creating a comfortable environment. :-) Above all, it is so, so convenient and easy to clean!!

Anyway, the Sutimt heated humidifier has many advantages in many ways. Since it is a baby heated humidifier developed from the ground up by a father raising two children, who put care into every part of the process, I feel like I can trust it even more. What do you think of the Sutimt heated humidifier?! ^-^
