Where is Mini Male Seocho Gyodae Branch, and can you park?

Mini Male Roastery & Coffee Bar Seocho Gyodae Branch (미니말레 뢰스터리&커피바 서초교대점) is a café a 2-minute walk from Gyodae Station Exit 8. Parking isn't possible on weekdays, and on weekends you can apparently stop briefly in front of the shop depending on the situation.

Mini Male Gyodae is famous as a go-to spot for office workers in Seocho and Gyodae. Its signature drink, the Helsinki Latte, is seriously good, and it's also a dessert café that mainly sells babka, a traditional Eastern European dessert. If you like a latte with dessert, I totally recommend Mini Male Gyodae.
Is the seating at Mini Male Gyodae good for solo visits and groups?

Mini Male Gyodae is a great café near Gyodae Station whether you come alone or with a group. The interior was very clean and the staff were friendly.

There are seats for 2, for 4, and for up to 6 people.

There are bar seats too, so it's also good for a solo coffee break. It's not the kind of café that blasts loud K-pop. There's a moderate level of background noise, which makes it a good place to meet, and if you avoid the busy hours I think it works for laptop work as well. (There are power outlets!)
When is Mini Male Gyodae busiest?
Mini Male Gyodae is popular with Gyodae Station office workers, so it's busiest between 12:00 and 14:00. If you want a relaxed cup of coffee, avoid lunchtime!

Mini Male Gyodae also has terrace seats outside. If you visit in the evening when it's a bit less hot, enjoying a coffee outside in the cool air sounds nice.
Mini Male menu and babka prices

This is the Mini Male drink menu. The best-selling item and signature drink is the Helsinki Latte. I could really feel it was the top seller, because every single guest at the tables in front of and next to me was drinking a Helsinki Latte... hahaha. It seemed like a proper latte place, so I picked the Helsinki Latte without a second thought.

All the desserts at Mini Male are handmade, and they're really good too, you know? There's a wide variety of cookies and breads. Mini Male's signature dessert is babka.

Here's the Mini Male dessert lineup.
- Petit Pain à la Crème ₩1,600 (the writer's pick)
- Egg tart ₩2,800

Recommended at Mini Male: Helsinki Latte and three desserts

Along with the signature Helsinki Latte, I ordered three desserts: the Noisette Blossom Babka, the signature Au Chocolat Babka and the Petit Pain à la Crème.

So many desserts looked delicious that I agonized for ages and got greedy with three, and every dessert I picked that day was a total success.

How do the Noisette Blossom Babka and Au Chocolat Babka taste?
Babka is a traditional Eastern European dessert that's hard to find in Korea. If you're hunting for a good babka place, I highly recommend Mini Male. Mini Male's babka is the essence of crisp outside, moist inside, and it feels a bit like a Mont Blanc.
The Noisette Blossom Babka has a subtle orange and lavender flavor, lightly sweet and just right as a summer dessert. The signature Au Chocolat Babka is a must for chocolate lovers. It's packed with chocolate all the way through.

What is the Petit Pain à la Crème?
I tried the Mini Male Petit Pain à la Crème without big expectations, and it was a bread filled with custard cream. At ₩1,600 the price is friendly, and it's mini-sized, so if you arrive already full, a mini dessert like this works well.

Why does everyone order the Helsinki Latte?
The moment I took one sip of the Mini Male Helsinki Latte, I understood why everybody orders it. It's so nutty and just sweet enough.. it's delicious even on its own. I admit it: a real latte place.
Is it a good Gyodae Station café for desserts and lattes?

If you're looking for a café near Gyodae Station that does desserts and lattes well, I recommend Mini Male Roastery & Coffee Bar Seocho Gyodae Branch!
