My vacation came up suddenly, and my older sister managed to line up her schedule with mine, so we finally got a date for just the two of us in a while! I heard there's a sauna in Cheonan you can enjoy completely privately, so I booked it and went. It was such a healing place that I have to tell you about it right away. What is My Bless Sauna in Buldang-dong, Cheonan like?

My Bless Sauna is in Buldang-dong, Cheonan. Let me give you a little peek inside first: the moment we walked in, I was honestly surprised by how neat it looked. It smelled lovely and was decorated like a garden. We had booked ahead, and the owner welcomed us kindly.

My sister and I booked the private 90-minute sauna. Two people can share one slot, so it's private and a date at the same time, and I was really happy with that. It's great for family and would be lovely for couples too, so next time I'm going with my boyfriend ❣️

Parking and how to get there

The most important thing, parking: the Golden Plaza 2 building supports up to 2 hours, and parking near pillar C makes the walk a bit easier. It's a tower parking building with wide entrances and exits, and after parking, come down to the 2nd floor and you'll see the private sauna!

There's also a membership system, so you could sign up for a regular pass and use it whenever you want a private sauna. Then we followed the owner through the garden-like space to the sauna room where we'd spend our 90 minutes.

A plant-filled sauna room that wasn't humid

The plant decor (what Koreans call "planterior") clearly got a lot of care! It's a sauna, but it was so fresh and well kept that I felt no humidity at all, and the owner turned on the air conditioning to match our booking time, so it was really cool. It's so hot these days, so I personally loved this thoughtful touch!

What amenities are there?

At a vanity-style counter there were various supplies along with robes, and even books you can read while saunaing.

Looking closer, there's a toothbrush, toothpaste, shower towel and cotton swabs for the shower, and towels, a comb, toner, lotion and a hair dryer for tidying up afterwards. The dryer is a Dyson, no less! The towels were pretty too and got me weirdly excited. That sky blue was gorgeous!

There are two kinds of robes, a two-piece set and a one-piece, so wear whichever you like. And this cute hat is apparently worn in the sauna to protect your head from the heat. It was so adorable that I wore it in the bath too, when I wasn't in the sauna 😁

Hygienic disposable items, and a sink without a single water stain or drop of water! If you want a clean private sauna, you have to try My Bless Sauna. 90 minutes won't be enough. It wasn't for me ><

The bath is filled in advance

Let's head right in! When you book, you choose cold or hot water and the owner fills the bath beforehand. I ran some cold water to bring the temperature down a little. They fill it only about halfway, so being able to adjust the temperature like this was actually a plus!

Oh, and at the time of my visit they provided sikhye (sweet rice drink), water, ice cups and even eggs. Baked eggs really give that true sauna feeling, and all of it in a private space? Loved it! Sweating and then drinking something cold is heaven. They also sell things like banana juice separately, so if you want the sauna plus banana milk vibe, order one.

Chatting with my sister about this and that in the bath was so much fun. When two women meet there's just so much to talk about. We call and text every day, and yet I lost track of time.

After the soak, the shower supplies come in a basket like this: shampoo, body wash, conditioner and foam cleanser!

Finnish dry sauna and aroma oil

After about 30 minutes in the bath, we moved into the sauna! I personally love Finnish dry saunas, and the temperature was just right, a gentle sweat, so I was satisfied.

You can add aroma oil too. You can dilute it in water, or drip a little onto the stones inside the sauna, and the scent fills the room for proper healing. My sister and I were both so happy with this date spot!!!
