Lately, prepping for my wedding has gotten me interested in all kinds of skin and body care! I've always cared about my face line and skin condition, so this time I went and got a facial contouring treatment ✨

The place I visited was Esthetia Cheonan Sinbuldang Branch 1. I was looking for a skin care shop in Buldang-dong, Cheonan, and ended up here — the treatment was thorough and they explained each step along the way, so I felt really comfortable the whole time haha

You can park inside the building, which made it easy to visit by car! I drove there, and after parking I found the shop without any trouble haha

As soon as I walked in, the overall clean atmosphere caught my eye first~ Everything was tidy in white tones, and it really felt like a place you'd come to for treatment haha. Cleanliness matters a lot for an esthetic shop, and since everything was so well organized, my first impression was great!

There was a small space to sit and wait, plus a separate consultation area.

What the private one-person treatment room is like

After the consultation, I changed and moved into the treatment room! The room I got was a private one-person room, so I could relax without worrying about anyone else around. Getting treated felt like a little break, and personally I really liked having such a private space haha. Before starting, they also gave me a quick rundown of the order of today's treatment!

How does Esthetia's facial contouring treatment work, step by step?

Step 1: cleansing

The facial contouring treatment at Esthetia Cheonan Sinbuldang Branch 1 started with cleansing~ They cleared away leftover impurities and makeup residue on my face before moving into the actual treatment.

During the treatment, they told me what stage each product application was for and checked in with me now and then to see if anything felt uncomfortable, which I liked. After putting on a pack, the decolletage massage began.

Step 2: the decolletage, trapezius and shoulder massage

I thought a facial contouring treatment would just be constant face work, but they actually started by loosening up my upper body first! They massaged my trapezius, shoulders, and arms, and it was way more refreshing than I expected lol

My shoulders tend to get tense a lot, so I could really feel my body loosening up more and more as the treatment went on~ What I liked most after the facial contouring started was

• They loosened up the temporalis muscle on my scalp
• It genuinely felt like my cheekbones were shrinking..

It hurt a lot at one point, but they shared a handy tip — opening your mouth slightly makes it hurt less ㅠㅠ lol

Step 3: detailed work along the cheekbone and jaw lines

They worked carefully along my entire facial line, from the forehead to the temples, cheeks, and jawline~ It didn't feel like a generic face massage — more like they were checking which muscles I use a lot and where I tend to get tense as they worked, which I really liked. I had the director herself do my treatment!

Step 4: finishing with a modeling pack

After the facial contouring was done, they finished with a modeling pack~ There was a little rest time with the pack on my face, and it felt calming after all the treatment, so it stayed comfortable right to the end haha. After removing the pack, they finished thoroughly with basic skin care. I couldn't get a photo of it, but the modeling pack felt cool and never stuffy, which I liked haha

What did my face look like after one facial contouring session?

When I looked in the mirror after the treatment, my whole face definitely felt refreshed haha. Maybe because they kept working on and checking my face throughout, my facial line also felt more defined than usual!

Rather than expecting your face shape to change dramatically after one treatment, it's better to think of it as loosening up tense areas and tidying up your facial line~

Is Esthetia worth it for wedding-prep skincare in Cheonan?

Esthetia Cheonan Sinbuldang Branch 1, which I visited this time, had a thorough treatment process overall and friendly staff, so I felt comfortable the whole way through~ I imagine a lot of people preparing for their wedding these days are also looking into facial line or skin care.
