Lately, between housework and childcare, I haven't had much real rest, and the hot weather on top of it left me exhausted, body and mind. So this time, instead of somewhere crowded, I looked for a private sauna where I could truly and quietly rest. That's how I ended up at My Bless Sauna in Buldang-dong, Cheonan.

Where is My Bless Sauna in Sinbuldang, Cheonan, and where do you park?

My Bless Sauna is located on the 2nd floor of Golden Plaza in Buldang-dong, Cheonan. If you're coming by car, parking was convenient too, since you can use the lot on floors 3–5 of Golden Plaza 2.

How do you book a room at My Bless Sauna?

One thing worth knowing before you visit: a Naver reservation is required.

💡 A useful tip — arrive a little before your reserved time!

Since you need some time after entering to change and get ready for the sauna, I'd recommend arriving a bit early. The checkout time is fixed, so arriving with some buffer lets you make full use of your session.

Inside the private sauna room at My Bless

The moment I opened the door, the first thing I noticed was a faint forest scent and calm meditation music.

The forest-like scent blended with the soothing background music, and I felt calm the instant I stepped in. I thought, 'I could really rest here.'

Inside, there was a comfortable single sofa, bean bag chairs, and a table for relaxing, and on the other side, an interior touch reminiscent of pebbles and nature.

When I visited, there was no one else using the same time slot, so it was even quieter. Not having to think about other people meant I could use the space entirely for myself — it really felt like proper rest.

Above all, I noticed how clean and well-maintained everything was overall.

Come empty-handed: the amenities at My Bless Sauna

Going to a sauna usually means packing a fair amount of stuff. But at My Bless Sauna, they really have everything you need, so you can go with just your body.

• 4 towels, tissues, wet wipes, and more

The hair dryer was a Dyson in particular, so I could dry my hair quickly. Towels were also generously stocked, 4 of them. The skin toner, lotion, and body lotion had a subtle herbal scent. With even a toothbrush and toothpaste provided, there was really nothing else I needed to bring.

With this much provided, you really could come with just your body, haha

Amenities are provided inside the bath area too. With Kiehl's foam cleanser and Aromatica body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, you don't need to bring your own shower products.

Ready for the sauna! And that's not all.

They even provide egg, water, sikhye (sweet rice drink), and a stainless cup filled with ice. Drinking a glass of sikhye after the sauna gave me that jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) feeling, and these little touches made me unexpectedly happy. :) Not having to pack a huge bag of things was a comfort I hadn't expected to appreciate this much.

Wi-Fi and usage instructions were provided too, and the amenities were kept neat and clean, which I appreciated.

A private sauna in Cheonan with the whole room to ourselves

Before entering the sauna, there's a warm-toned rest area with the AC running cool, good for resting before and after the sauna. There was a separate faucet, which was convenient, and even a waterproof book was provided.

Bath + sauna. The biggest feature of My Bless Sauna is, of course, its privacy.

Unlike a regular public bathhouse or jjimjilbang shared with many people, you get an independent space to enjoy the sauna comfortably. I liked not having to worry about anyone walking in or feeling watched by others — I could just rest and spend the time however I wanted.

The sauna and bath spaces are also separated, so you can enjoy sauna → bath → rest all in one leisurely flow within the same space.

How do you adjust the temperature of the Finnish sauna?

My Bless Sauna in Cheonan is set up as a Finnish-style sauna.

What I liked most was being able to control the sauna's temperature myself. By filling a bucket with water and pouring it in little by little, I could adjust it to exactly the temperature I wanted, so I could relax comfortably at my own preferred heat. I really enjoyed having that quiet time entirely to myself, away from crowds, in a private sauna.

The scent of phytoncide and the warm air made my whole body feel loose and relaxed. Took a selfie with my mom, too,

and properly enjoyed the sauna with egg, sikhye, water, and even coarse salt.

The half-bath at My Bless: hot or cold water, your choice

I wanted to enjoy a half-bath too, so I stepped out of the sauna about 30 minutes before my reservation ended. You can choose between cold or hot water, and they fill it in advance for you — I chose hot.

Since I wanted it slightly lukewarm, I mixed in some cold water to adjust the temperature. I tried reading quietly for the first time in a while, though I only got through one page, haha. Still, having this time to do absolutely nothing and just rest was so nice.

A glass of sparkling water after the sauna. Once I finished, they served sparkling water too, and I drank it cool in the rest area, lingering a bit longer before heading out.

I happened to be curious about the family room, so I asked, and it turns out it's a spacious layout combining two separate spaces — it would be great for families to use together or for a family gathering.

Is My Bless Sauna in Cheonan worth it? Final verdict

I was very satisfied being able to enjoy the sauna and bath together in one private space, without worrying about anyone else. With amenities and towels all ready, I could visit light and easy, and while the price is on the higher side, it was a nice chance to spend time completely focused on myself.
