The Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo (nicknamed "Songhyeona" by locals) is one of my regular shopping spots. After a good round of shopping, I always need a sugar recharge. Among the many cafés inside the Songdo Hyundai Outlet, there's one that really does coffee well. A tasty cup is just right when you're getting worn out from shopping! Today I'm introducing Wunder Coffee Bar, my pick for coffee at Songhyeona.
Where is Wunder Coffee Bar, and what are its hours?
Wunder Coffee Bar is on B1 of the Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch, and its hours are the same as the outlet's. So you can have a coffee before you start shopping, or after you finish. Both sound good to me.
Getting to Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo by subway and bus
The Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet connects directly to Exit 2 of Tekeunopakeu Station on Incheon Line 1. For buses, just get off at Tekeunopakeu Station.

From regular soft serve to affogato to the Dwaeji Bar ice cream (inspired by a popular Korean strawberry-flavored ice bar), there's a nice range to pick from. The basic ice cream also comes in hojicha, vanilla, or half and half. Hojicha is popular these days, and now you can already try it as ice cream!

I tried four items at Wunder Coffee Bar: the Wunder Gato (hojicha flavor), Cream Ube, iced Americano and iced vanilla latte. The coffee line, which has a rich, premium taste that isn't cheap, was good too.
What does the Cream Ube taste like?
I also enjoyed a cup of Cream Ube, sweet with a nutty richness on top.
The favorite: hojicha Wunder Gato
The hojicha Wunder Gato was my favorite item at Wunder Coffee Bar. Hojicha means roasted green tea, and it tastes different from matcha. The combination of sweet ice cream with green tea flavor and bitter coffee was much better than I expected. I think I'll end up ordering the Wunder Gato again next time.
