Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is deep in the alley next to the Seongdong-gu Citizens' Sports Center, a 10-minute walk from Ttukseom Station and Seoulsup Station. Once you turn into the alley, the white-and-blue building stands out, so it was easy to spot.

Do you need a reservation for weekday brunch?
Like any good restaurant near Ttukseom Station, Billadeubeulleu Seongsu has waits even on weekdays, so I recommend booking. You can reserve through Naver Reservation or CatchTable.
I booked through Naver for 2pm on a Wednesday and it was completely full. If I hadn't reserved, I might not have gotten in..!
Seating and table ordering at Billadeubeulleu Seongsu
The inside isn't huge, and there were lots of tables for two. By the window there's a bar table, great for a cozy chat for two!
Tables for two can be pushed together for bigger groups, and there's a round table too, so it works for a date for two or for a group.
I sat at a table for two at the back, and the open kitchen was right across from me, so there was a little fun in watching it!
You order with Catch Order, which is set up at every table. Scan the barcode to order, and you pay in person at the end.
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu menu

The menu has pasta, lasagna, gnocchi, risotto and more. There's a range from light brunch dishes to filling meals, plus upscale dishes that go well with beer and wine!
For wine, there are glasses, but the bottles aren't pricey either, so it's perfect for a stylish date ♡
There's even a detailed list of service requests like this, so it was a thoughtful space where even super-introverted people can ask for service without difficulty.

The food didn't come out all at once, so I couldn't take a clean photo! But look at that table full of tempting dishes ♡
Polvo Mambo: Mediterranean octopus with romesco sauce

Polvo Mambo is tender Mediterranean-style octopus served with romesco sauce, potatoes and peas. The first dish out was the one I was most looking forward to, the Polvo Mambo!

The octopus leg had nothing tough about it, just extreme tenderness, and the romesco sauce underneath was smooth yet spicy, an explosion of savory flavor~ The potatoes were crispy outside and soft inside, and the peas were tender. It would suit brunch perfectly, but it made me crave wine, and it was the best dish :)
Aligot cheese lasagna: the signature with cheese poured at your table

The aligot cheese lasagna is Billadeubeulleu Seongsu's signature lasagna, with a "cheese waterfall" sauce poured over it, and it was the second signature dish to arrive. They pour the cheese right at your seat onto a lasagna cooked piping hot in its bowl, and they said it's made by combining several kinds of cheese. Having it poured right in front of you is a full-marks performance!

Under the cheese are layers of wide pasta sheets and loads of ragù sauce! I worried the cheese might be greasy or stringy, but the rich yet smooth cheese balanced out the salty ragù~ I also worried it'd be too salty on an empty stomach, but the not-overdone seasoning was a fantastic match with the pasta and cheese!
Abalone squid ink risotto: a creamy, fluffy ink risotto
The abalone squid ink risotto is a flavor-packed squid ink cream risotto topped with tender abalone.

The risotto had a unique fluffy texture that went so well with the curious taste of the ink cream sauce that I could have inhaled it forever! And the abalone was tender, not tough, and so delicious. I never got tired of it until the last bite, a charming abalone squid ink risotto.
Finished off with an ice-cold Coke Zero, it was a perfect meal at Billadeubeulleu, a great-atmosphere restaurant near Ttukseom Station!
