Ilsan nail salon for two-tone pedicure with toe stones: Nail & Style
In short
Nail & Style Leplus Ilsan WesternDom Branch is a nail salon with 20 years of experience and several nail artists, on the 2nd floor of WesternDom Building A on Jeongbalsan-ro in Ilsan, Goyang. Ahead of sandal season, the writer got a pedicure at Nail & Style and, torn between pale syrup colors and deeper shades, settled after a consultation on a two-tone color with a stone accent on the big toe. For a summer pedicure that keeps a clear, fresh look without being plain, a consultation at Nail & Style is worth booking.

Sandal and slipper season is officially back! With toes on show again, I finally went to get the foot care I'd been putting off.

Where is Nail & Style in Ilsan, and is there parking?
Nail & Style is a nail salon in Ilsan on the 2nd floor above the Olive Young at the entrance of WesternDom Building A. It's open every day, 11:00–20:00 on weekdays and 10:00–19:00 on weekends, and parking is available.
It wasn't hard to find and parking was easy, so it was a convenient visit. Park at Building A, take elevator 16 or 17, and head right on the 2nd floor.

What is the atmosphere like at Nail & Style?
The first thing I noticed walking in was that the shop is bigger than I expected. It's a multi-artist shop that has run in Ilsan for 20 years and offers one-on-one custom care, and it had plenty of seats and was neatly kept, so it felt pleasant.

The trophies and awards right by the entrance caught my eye. It gave me the feeling of a place with long experience and real skill. I thought, no wonder it has lasted 20 years in Ilsan.

As soon as I sat down, they brought me an iced Americano too. Sipping a cold coffee while getting my treatment was lovely. Funny how a small touch like that puts you in a good mood.

Summer pedicure colors: pale syrup or deeper shades?
The hardest part of this pedicure was choosing the color. So many pedicure designs these days are clear, sheer syrup colors, right? I think that style is pretty too, but personally, I find that a very pale color on the feet gets lost in my skin tone and the accent doesn't show.

At first I even thought about going with nude tones or syrup colors. But I wear sandals and slippers a lot, and toes that look too faint would be a bit of a letdown.

On the other hand, a deep color might lose that clean, cool summer feel, so I was really torn. When I explained this during the consultation at Nail & Style, they steered things toward my taste, which made deciding easy.

How does the pedicure process at Nail & Style go?
My pedicure was done by one of the shop's artists. After the consultation the real work began, and it felt calm and thorough throughout. I was happy that the design I chose came out neat and clean.

Once the treatment got going, I understood why Nail & Style has so many highly satisfied reviews. From shaping the toenails to the basic care, everything was trimmed with a careful, attentive touch.

I was especially pleased that, from tidying my messy cuticles through to the color application, there were no clumps or lifting spots anywhere. The calm, meticulous care really left an impression.

How does Nail & Style handle hygiene and sterilization?
Nail & Style runs a 6-step sterilization system. Metal tools are thoroughly disinfected, and the other tools are single-use kits, they say. I was happy with the hygiene too. Seeing even the smallest tool kept neat and tidy made me trust the place a lot more.

The finished design: two-tone pedicure with a big-toe stone
The finished pedicure is a two-tone color with a subtle stone accent only on the big toe. I loved the result. There aren't many stones, yet the whole look comes alive.

It isn't over the top, so it's easy for everyday wear, and I liked how it sparkles naturally whenever it catches the light.

In sandals especially, the big-toe accent quietly catches the eye, so I think it'll suit summer outfits well. It keeps that clear, clean feel without being too plain, and I'm happy with it.

Does Nail & Style offer a first-visit discount?
I hear Nail & Style, the Ilsan nail salon, is also running a 30% discount for first-time customers. After the nail care, they finish with a hand spa therapy treatment. If you've been thinking about visiting, this could be a chance to try it with a bit less of a price worry.
