Visit to Low Five Sinpung in Haenggung-dong, Suwon

Why Haenggung-dong, Suwon is where I go when I want pizza

Whenever I have a reason to visit Haenggung-dong these days, I like to take my time — eat something good, hit a café, just enjoy the pace. This time I was craving pizza specifically, so I looked around and ended up at Low Five Sinpung. Haenggung-dong has so many good restaurants that I went back and forth on where to go, but I wanted somewhere with a nice atmosphere where I could really enjoy pizza, and that's how I landed here.

Haenggung-dong has so many alleys worth exploring and so many aesthetic little shops that it's become a regular date-course spot for me, and Low Five Sinpung felt right at home in that vibe. I prefer places where you can enjoy the atmosphere along with the meal rather than just eating and leaving, and this place was comfortable yet stylish enough that I could relax through the whole meal.

Inside Low Five Sinpung: the room and how the pizza tastes

Walking in, my first impression was overall clean and stylish. It didn't feel overdone — more naturally comfortable — so it seemed like a good spot to visit with friends, and also a good pick for anyone looking for a date-worthy restaurant in Haenggung-dong.

Since pizza was what I was most craving that day, I centered the order around it. The pizza caught my eye the moment it arrived — the kind of visual that makes you want to photograph it, so naturally I took several shots before digging in. These days, a trip to Haenggung-dong tends to be a combo of eating well and getting pretty photos, and on that front too, I was satisfied.

The dough and toppings worked well together, and the first bite didn't feel heavy at all, so I kept reaching for more. The savory pizza flavor blended nicely with the toppings' richness, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Pizza can get greasy fast and leave you full after just a few slices, but between conversation and bites, this one disappeared faster than expected.

What to order at Low Five Sinpung for two people or a group

For two people, ordering one pizza to share alongside another dish seems like a good approach. It would also suit people who like tasting a bit of everything. With friends, ordering a variety of dishes to share around the table looked like it would work well too.

After the meal: a Haengridan-gil walk as a Haenggung-dong date course

One of the best things about Haenggung-dong is how many places there are to stroll around or grab a coffee after a meal. After eating at Low Five Sinpung, walking slowly toward Haengridan-gil to look around or duck into a café felt like a natural fit, making this a good match for a Haenggung-dong date course.

Choosing where to eat matters more than you'd think on a Haenggung-dong date — I tend to prefer somewhere you can talk comfortably over a meal, rather than somewhere too loud or too heavy in mood. On that front, Low Five Sinpung was an easy, low-pressure place to spend time over pizza.
