Photo from a visit to Low Five, a wood-fired pizza restaurant in Haenggung-dong

Today I'm writing about a restaurant that's famous as a pizza spot in Haenggung-dong — my visit to the Low Five flagship, along with all the menu items and prices. Yesterday for lunch I was craving good pizza, so I headed to Haenggung-dong. I work at a vocational school near Suwon's Namdaemun area, and since the office is right next to Haenggung-dong, I often walk over for a good meal on my lunch break. Yesterday was a Tuesday and I was in the mood for Western food, so off to Haenggung-dong I went. I'd seen a post about a place doing proper wood-fired pizza there, so I decided to check it out myself! And sure enough, it was delicious and filling.

Where is Low Five, and what are its hours and parking?

If you're taking public transit, get off at Jangan Park, Hwaseomun, Hwaseong Haenggung, or Paldal-gu Office stops and it's within a 10-minute walk!! As for parking, there's no dedicated lot at the restaurant, so search for Haenggung-dong public parking lots and use whichever is closest. I left my car at the office and walked over.

Low Five is the kind of restaurant that's comfortable to visit anytime, no special occasion needed! On days when you just want to relax, or when you're craving a good meal, this is the place to stop by. I feel pretty lucky to have a restaurant this good near my office ^_^

Inside Low Five: a view of the wood-fired oven

The interior at Low Five leaves an impression with its cozy design. There's a wood-fired oven in the kitchen, so you can watch the pizzas being baked right in front of you.

Here are some photos I took of the interior at Low Five, the Haenggung-dong pizza spot. Once you step inside, the cozy design really stands out. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant, but also warm enough that it puts you at ease. There's a wood-fired oven in the kitchen, so you can watch the pizzas actually being baked in it, which I thought was a fun, unusual touch.

I liked that the self-serve corner had hot sauce and parmesan cheese ready to grab whenever you want. The table setting was also done neatly, which made for a really nice lunch ^_^

How does the Alfredo cream pasta taste?

I ordered the Alfredo cream pasta (₩18,000), a spicy cream-based pasta topped with grilled bacon! Personally I prefer cream pasta over tomato or oil-based pasta!! The cream sauce here was thick and rich, with an incredible depth of flavor!! It looked delicious just from the visuals, and it tasted just as fantastic!

I also captured the whole dish on video!

Avocado kimchi fried rice (₩14,000) — kimchi fried rice topped with soft scrambled egg, plus added avocado!! I thought I'd feel a little sad without some rice, so I ordered this one, and it was delicious!!

And then there's Low Five's signature menu item, the corn pizza (₩26,000), topped with white truffle cream, bacon, butter seasoning, chili shrimp, and grilled corn!! Being baked in the wood-fired oven made it taste even better!

That wraps up my honest review of my visit to Low Five, the pizza spot in Haenggung-dong. If you're looking for a good pizza restaurant in Haenggung-dong, definitely give this place a visit!! The food here is REALLY good ^_^
