Today I visited Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk in Ingye-dong, a great spot for a solo lunch near Suwon City Hall Station. If you want to taste a bit of Jeju in Suwon's Ingye-dong, this is the place.
Can you walk from Suwon City Hall Station? Atmosphere and parking
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch has a parking space right in front of the restaurant, and it's walkable from Suwon City Hall Station. The only downside is how hot it's been lately, but the inside was cool, so I ate happily!

The restaurant is quite spacious inside, and the restroom was clean and well-kept too — Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk in Ingye-dong.

Menu, prices and free extra rice at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk
The signature dishes at this Ingye-dong Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk, a great spot for a solo lunch near Suwon City Hall Station, are beef haejangguk (hangover soup) and tripe soup. Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Ingye Branch uses bone broth simmered at high heat in a traditional cauldron.

Check the prices below! Free extra rice with any single order. This Ingye-dong eatery also has Hallasan soju ready if you want a drink alongside your meal.

I thought the place felt clean overall, and when I opened the drawer, sure enough there were utensil sets and wet wipes ready to go!

Baby spoons and disposable aprons at the self-service corner
The self-service corner at this Ingye-dong Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk near Suwon City Hall Station is clean too. I liked that the available items were labeled clearly. Seeing baby utensils among the tableware made me think this would be a good place to visit with family! It reminds me of something an owner once told me at another restaurant — if you come to a gukbap place, you should leave with a full stomach! That owner gave generous portions, and here too, the free extra rice means you can eat your fill.

Since the tripe soup and haejangguk come out bubbling in a stone pot, grab a disposable apron from the self-service corner if you need one! Office workers on their lunch break should probably use one — just in case, haha.

What side dishes come with the meal
The radish kimchi at this Ingye-dong gukbap restaurant near Suwon City Hall Station was very well fermented and tasty.

It's a spicy pepper, but it pairs really well with the haejangguk!

Adding the minced garlic in as soon as the haejangguk or tripe soup arrives makes it much tastier.

Dombe pork (small): an easy size for one person
This restaurant in Ingye-dong near Suwon City Hall Station lets you taste dombe pork (돔베고기) from Jeju. I liked that there's a small size of dombe pork, perfect for eating solo!

One food I fully vouch for from Jeju Island is pork. This Jeju-raised pork was definitely delicious! Perfect for a drink alongside it too!

Bean sprouts make the tripe soup broth clean and refreshing
It seems like every branch of Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk serves black rice! Order one dish per person and get free extra rice.

The visuals on this tripe soup at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk in Ingye-dong near Suwon City Hall Station are stunning. There's more solid content packed into the stone pot than broth — looks like it might overflow. I love a lot of green onion, and there was plenty. I added minced garlic and took a first sip of the broth.

Bean sprouts aren't usually added to tripe soup, but the tripe soup at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Ingye Branch had them in, which I think made the broth taste even more refreshing! It's loaded with Haenam-style wilted greens, fresh bean sprouts, and tender tripe with no off odor.

This Ingye-dong gukbap restaurant near Suwon City Hall Station piles in plump beef tripe (gopchang) and small intestine (kkanyang) cooked in bone broth. Great for lunch, but the one problem is it makes you crave a drink with it, haha — folks who came straight from work might suffer a bit... haha.
