10am omelette plate and lychee ade at Que Sera, a Jamsil brunch spot

In short

Que Sera is a Western-style brunch restaurant near Seokchon Lake in Jamsil, Songpa, Seoul, open from 10am. The omelette plate, carrot rapé and lychee refresher ade arrived fast alongside naturally-leavened bread and a fluffy omelette. The rare lychee-flavored ade alone makes this a Jamsil brunch spot worth returning to.

Storefront of Que Sera, a Jamsil brunch spot

I had a leisurely brunch at Que Sera, a Jamsil brunch spot I really loved.

I ordered the omelette, carrot rapé, and a lychee refresher ade.

The atmosphere was so good for spending time leisurely with delicious brunch from the morning — I was really satisfied.

A Jamsil brunch spot open from 10am

I liked that Que Sera opens from 10am, so you can enjoy brunch a bit earlier than usual.

The menu was more varied than I expected, so I found myself agonizing over what to order.

I almost got a sandwich but ended up ordering the omelette instead, and it was so satisfying. I'm definitely trying the sandwich next time.

Interior seating at Que Sera during brunch hours

Around 11am was the busiest

When I visited, the crowd peaked around 11am.

True to brunch hours, lots of people were there for a light meal, and with the pretty interior, everyone seemed to be relaxing comfortably.

Food came out faster than I expected, too. The staff were really quick — I didn't wait long after ordering. Even during the busiest hour, they kept the food coming out smoothly, one after another.

How was the omelette plate?

The omelette plate I ordered was easy to enjoy as a brunch dish, nothing heavy about it.

With a fluffy omelette packed with soft egg, plus fresh salad, bread, and fries, it was a pretty filling spread.

The seasoning was just right, and it was easy to eat.

Bread made in-house with natural leaven

The bread is made in-house with naturally leavened dough slow-fermented at low temperature, and it has a really nutty, clean flavor. Flour usually gives me an upset stomach, but this didn't bother me at all.

The omelette plate at Que Sera was basically the textbook definition of brunch.

Eating a warm, delicious brunch on a relaxed morning made the start of my day feel full and worthwhile.

Carrot rapé, a perfect match for the omelette

The carrot rapé I ordered alongside it paired really well with the brunch.

It went especially well with the omelette, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable.

It had a homemade kind of taste that I really loved.

Lychee refresher ade — a drink of a lifetime

For the drink, I ordered the lychee refresher ade, one of the recommended menu items. This is genuinely so good! It tastes very close to those lychee-flavored Mogu Mogu drinks. Seriously my new favorite drink — I have to go back just for this. Lychee-flavored ade is such a rare find that it's going to keep bringing Que Sera to mind.

The lychee refresher ade was just sweet enough and delicious, easy to drink even early in the morning without feeling too heavy.

If you're curious about lychee ade, you really need to go try it. True to its name, it felt genuinely refreshing.

Full windows, brick, and wood interior

On top of everything, Que Sera has really beautiful interior design.

With warm sunlight pouring in through the full windows and the space decorated in brick and wood, it was clean yet so pretty that I enjoyed just sitting there.

No matter where you sit, you get a nice view.

The staff were all kind too, so I could eat comfortably.

Que Sera's brunch space, worth revisiting in Jamsil

It's a place I want to come back to on days when my head feels cluttered, when I want good food in a pretty space, when I need to heal, or when I just want a leisurely brunch.

They say the name Que Sera carries a meaning like Hakuna Matata — a magical sense that everything will work out just as you wish, without worry. I found that really warm and lovely.

I'm already looking forward to what new thing I'll try next time I go back.
