What is Daily Fix at Jamsil's Jangmi Sangga?

Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga is a handmade burger restaurant in the basement of the Jangmi Apartments shopping arcade in Jamsil. A friend who lives outside Seoul came up for a visit, and on her day off we went on a Jamsil outing. We wondered what to have for lunch, searched around, and ended up at Daily Fix.

It had been ten years since I'd last been to Jangmi Sangga... wow. Back then a place called Jaseong Hambak was just starting to make the arcade a hot spot, and now look at it. So amazing.... It's close to Lotte World and Olympic Park too, so it's perfect if you're looking for a burger place near Jamsil Station~!!

Honestly, I thought, a burger place in the basement of an old arcade...? But to cut to the chase, I was very happy with both the place and the food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It was so good that I'm introducing it to you~ Yum!!!

• Hours: Mon–Fri 11:00–22:00 (last order 21:30 / closed Saturdays and Sundays)

How to get from Jamsil Station to Daily Fix in the Building B basement

Daily Fix is in the basement of Building B at Jangmi Sangga. There are two buildings, A and B, so it's surprisingly confusing the first time ㅠ I took photos of every step of the way so you won't get lost haha.

I came on Line 2 and left Jamsil Station by Exit 8, but if you're on Line 8, I think Exit 9 is more convenient!

Enter the arcade where the GS The Fresh entrance is and keep going straight, and you'll come out at the back door. After leaving by the back door, look right and you'll see Entrance 6; go down the stairs and you'll reach the 'Building B Basement Arcade Entrance.' Or you can go into the arcade and take the elevator on the left straight down to the basement!

Once you're down in the basement, there's a café, a dessert shop and one famous tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) place~ Walk past them and you'll see the yellow Daily Fix sign right away~!!

Ta-da~ We finally made it!!! I first went in through the left back door and wandered around for ages ㅠㅠ Be sure to go in through the main entrance of Building B!

Daily Fix atmosphere and how to order

The sign alone gives off big American vibes lol. I heard it's a brand created by chefs from Michelin restaurants, making burgers with 100% Hanwoo (Korean beef) patties, and it has branches in several parts of Seoul.

You order by tapping your phone on the tag on the table or scanning the QR code~ It seems like more and more places order this way these days.

Was there a wait at Daily Fix for a public holiday lunch?

We went around 1 p.m. on a public holiday and sat down right away with no wait. Since it's in an arcade, there aren't a huge number of seats, but with bar seats and table seats there was plenty of room.

Maybe because it's in an apartment arcade, they clearly get a ton of delivery orders rather than dine-in~ Delivery drivers kept coming one after another, and I could really feel it's a Jamsil neighborhood favorite haha. If you live nearby, definitely try it by delivery too!

Each seat has a fork and knife, tissues, and even disposable gloves. Maybe because the burgers are so big, they even prepared gloves lol.

How much did two people pay at Daily Fix?

The two of us ordered the Hawaiian Bacon BBQ Burger, the Bacon Cheeseburger, Chili Cheese Fries and Onion Rings with one cider (lemon-lime soda), and it came to ₩47,000 for two.

The burgers came out first! The Hawaiian BBQ Burger is on the left and the Bacon Cheeseburger is on the right.

Then all the sides came out too. Crispy onion rings and chili cheese fries!!

After everything came out and I took the full-table shot, I realized we'd been way too greedy for just two people lol. I mean, who knew the portions would be this big~

Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger, ₩13,900

My favorite at Daily Fix was the Hawaiian Bacon BBQ Burger!! Thick bacon and sweet BBQ sauce together with the juicy Hanwoo patty make a sweet-salty combo that's crazy...

Signature bacon cheeseburger, ₩12,900

The Bacon Cheeseburger is Daily Fix's signature item, with a celebrity's rave praise printed on the menu. Celebrity-approved restaurant, confirmed lol. The cheese is melted so much it oozes, and the bacon is crispy and chewy, so it earned the signature title~

The difference from the Hawaiian BBQ Burger? I think it's the vegetables versus the pineapple.

Daily Fix sides: how were the chili cheese fries and onion rings?

Chili cheese fries, ₩9,900

Daily Fix's chili cheese fries were insanely good too!!! Better than Outback's.. The meat chili sauce is so good~ I was full but kept eating just those.

Onion rings, ₩7,400

The star of this Daily Fix visit was the onion rings! At first I thought, hmm, maybe they're just so-so? But why do I keep wanting more of these...? What is this...?!!! We were both surprised...

Each ring is big and super crispy, and the hot ketchup that comes with them is slightly spicy, so there's no time to feel greasy~ Definitely ordering them next time!

Onion rings inside the burger: worth trying?

Putting onion rings in a Daily Fix burger was a really good combo! And the best part is that my friend tried stuffing onion rings into the burger on her own?!!! I copied her right away lol. Everyone, try putting them in too lol.

When I opened the burger to add the onion rings, I discovered the super thick bacon... wow.. After always eating hard, dried-out bacon at fast-food chains, this is a world of difference...wow

• Burgers I think even older folks would enjoy!!

• A place where a burger and a beer combo is totally doable too!!!
