Outside and inside the Jamsil shop
This Jamsil sandwich spot was easy to reach by public transit, 420m from Jamsil Station Exit 9, and parking at the Jamsil Daeshep Star Park underground lot made it convenient to drive there too!

It's also close to Jamsil Hangang Park

so it's a spot you can use for anything — office workers grabbing lunch to go, a weekend brunch, or a picnic lunch by the river :)

The cute character caught my eye, and even before I saw the line "We're good at coffee, but even better at sandwiches!" the place had already made an impression.

There were yellow chairs and tables set up outside so you can enjoy your sandwich and coffee outdoors too. Sitting out here felt kind of like having brunch on a European terrace :)

Going further inside, it was comfortably heated and cooled, with generous spacing between tables. There were also bar seats next to the tables, convenient for solo dining, though you can't really see them in the photo.

Off to one side, you could spot sriracha sauce, tissues, and Town Sandwich stickers.

Menu prices and the prize draw event
Looking at the menu at Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, the sandwiches and coffee obviously stand out!

Most items on the menu are under ₩10,000, so you can enjoy them without much of a burden! Orders were placed through kiosks both inside and outside the store, and there were also various set menus that let you enjoy the sandwiches and coffee more cheaply :)

On top of that, there's a no-miss prize draw you can join when you buy a sandwich, plus a Naver receipt review event — join both and you can enjoy Town Sandwich even more generously, right?

The full order: two sandwiches, cream soup, grapefruit ade and iced americano
We had the basil jambon-beurre sandwich, the Town Sandwich, cream soup, grapefruit ade, and an iced americano at Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch!

What makes the Town Sandwich baguette different?
The first thing I have to talk about is the baguette bread! Instead of the usual chewy, hard baguette, they use their own version that's crisp outside and soft inside :) It's baked at a HACCP-certified factory, using Town Sandwich's own recipe exactly. From the first bite, you could feel the difference from other baguette sandwiches!

Cut in halves or in thirds?
When ordering, you can choose whether to have the sandwich cut and whether it's into halves or thirds, which made it so much more convenient to eat :) I prefer eating in small bites so I ordered thirds, while my boyfriend, who likes big bites, went with halves.

Basil jambon-beurre sandwich
As you can see in the photo, the basil jambon-beurre sandwich is generously packed with jambon-beurre (ham and butter). The first bite shatters the crispy baguette crust and releases a wave of nutty butter aroma — that moment was genuinely happy.

The savory, umami-rich flavor unique to jambon meets the freshness of basil and hits an exquisite balance in your mouth!

The crunch of the fresh vegetables cuts through the richness so it stays refreshing all the way to the end, without ever feeling heavy :)

The signature Town Sandwich
The Town Sandwich just looks packed full even from the outside! Looking at the cut cross-section, layers of vivid green vegetables and pink ham are stacked up — a sandwich you already eat with your eyes first :)

Taking a big bite, you first feel the baguette's crisp-outside, soft-inside texture, then the crunch of fresh vegetables and the savory saltiness of the ham burst all at once — the kind of taste that makes you think, "This is what a sandwich should be!"

Cream soup with croutons on the side, plus iced americano
The cream soup was served hot, with the croutons given separately! The moment you take a spoonful, the rich, smooth cream flows warmly down your throat — pairing it with the sandwich is a perfect match!
Dipping the croutons lightly into the soup gives you crispiness and creaminess at the same time, so I really recommend this combo :)
The iced americano is brewed with Town Sandwich's own Town Blend beans, and it cleanly cut through the nutty, salty flavors of the sandwich — the pairing was spot on :)

Grapefruit ade
The grapefruit ade has a sweet-and-tart flavor that refreshingly reset the palate, making it great to sip between bites of sandwich!

Who will like Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch?
- Jamsil office workers looking for a lunch to go
- Anyone wanting a relaxed weekend brunch
- Anyone looking for a Hangang picnic lunch box
- Anyone wanting to eat alone in peace
- Small groups needing to place a bulk order
There's also a Naver reservation and takeout system, so if you order ahead you can pick up right away without waiting :) With a crisp-outside, soft-inside baguette loaded with fresh ingredients, plus the cream soup on the side, it was more than enough for a full meal! If you're trying to decide on a good sandwich spot in Jamsil, I genuinely recommend Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch :)
