Dangsan Seoul outdoor bar with aged flounder gimbap: Snack Bar Atashi
In short
Snack Bar Atashi Dangsan Station Main Branch is a bar in Dangsan, Seoul, serving katsu and curry by day and izakaya dishes at night. On a cool day, I had flounder salt gimbap, steamed clams, spicy seafood yaki udon, and okonomiyaki fries with soju. Verdict: a great Dangsan bar for outdoor drinks and a variety of snacks.

At Snack Bar Atashi, you can enjoy katsu and curry in the daytime, and it transforms into an izakaya at night! Even the sign is full of Japanese vibes, so it made me feel like I was traveling too haha.

There were food photos like this out front, and they made me want to eat everything!!

Dangsan outdoor seating and counter-seat atmosphere
Here are the outdoor seats!! ♥ There are also chairs where you can sit while waiting, so even if there is a wait, you can wait comfortably ꒰⸝⸝•。•⸝⸝꒱ You can also join the waitlist through Tabling!!
Inside, there are counter seats like this!! It has such a bar-like feel, which I loved so much ♥ I think it would be such a lovely, atmospheric place for a date too!!
It looked like parties of four are shown to these seats haha. You can all come together and eat comfortably, so just drop by without worry!!

The izakaya dishes we ordered
There were so many menu options, and they even had fresh raw shrimp because it was in season!! Everything looked delicious, so we ate a whole lot haha. There are lots of different drinks too, so I think anyone who loves Japanese food and drinks would really enjoy visiting!!
- Flounder salt gimbap (seaweed rice roll) ₩28,000
- Steamed clams in sake ₩19,000
- Spicy seafood yaki udon ₩15,000
- Okonomiyaki fries ₩8,000
- Chamisul ₩6,000

They even brought us two ice cups, and the shot glasses were so pretty 💖

Aged flounder salt gimbap
Flounder salt gimbap ₩28,000. The flounder salt gimbap came out first!! The salt gimbap was the perfect one-bite size, and it came with perilla leaves and white kimchi too!! Maybe because the flounder sashimi was aged, it looked absolutely gorgeous—and it tasted absolutely amazing too!!!

Dip it right into the soy sauce that comes with it, then eat it with white kimchi, perilla leaf, and wasabi—the savory depth is seriously incredible,, 🩵

Butter-scented steamed clams
Steamed clams in sake ₩18,000. The steamed clams were full of buttery aroma, with a seriously generous amount of clams!! Scooping up the broth was so, so delicious 💖 It was a perfect match for soju!!

Spicy seafood yaki udon you keep thinking about
Spicy seafood yaki udon ₩15,000. It had a seriously generous amount of seafood, the sauce had soaked beautifully into the noodles, and it was soooo delicious!! It had a spicy kick and plenty of umami, so I enjoyed it so, so much!!!

It was reaaally,,, so delicious ㅠㅠㅠ The kind of yaki udon you keep thinking about 💕

You do need to use the restroom outside, but there is this cute haha tissue basket on the way, so be sure to take the tissue basket with you ❣️
Okonomiyaki fries
Okonomiyaki fries ₩8,000. It was my very first time trying them!! I was curious what they would taste like, and they were basically perfectly fried fries topped with okonomiyaki sauce~ The fries and okonomiyaki sauce went together far better than I expected, making them the best thing to pick at while having soju or beer!!

It was such a delicious day at a place with a great atmosphere!! The weather had warmed up, so I visited an outdoor bar for the first time in a while, and I absolutely loved being able to eat while breathing in the fresh air!! The aged flounder in the flounder salt gimbap was so delicious, as was the gimbap itself—it felt like I had properly tried a real trend. The steamed clams, yaki udon, and fries were all so delicious with soju too, so I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Dangsan bar with outdoor seating ❣️
