Magok pork cutlet restaurant, mini cutlet cream pasta at 3pm: Tteudon

I suddenly got hungry around an awkward 3pm and started looking for somewhere to eat, but break times made it tough to find a place.

After some searching, I found out there's a handmade pork cutlet place in Magok that runs with no break time, so I quickly took the kids there. They even have a kids' room!!!

As soon as we arrived, the kids excitedly ran straight into the play room. It was small but nicely put together, so they played well while we waited for the food. With a game console and dolls to catch their attention, mom and dad even got a little breather. There were quite a lot of other diners inside Tteudon Magok Branch already, which made me think — this must be a real local favorite!

Tteudon Magok Branch has a small kids' room off to one side, plus baby chairs and kids' tableware — a proper family-friendly pork cutlet restaurant. Every table has a tablet, so ordering was easy too.

Walking inside, the interior felt really clean and bright, which I loved. With a tablet at every table, ordering was simple.

When you're eating out with kids, the first things you check are the tableware and seating, right? Seeing a generous stack of baby chairs on one side put my mind at ease. You could tell they'd thought carefully about families, which won this mom over.

They had plenty of kids' forks, spoons, and even a dedicated plate ready to go, which was really convenient.

The self-bar at Tteudon Magok Branch has unlimited morning bread, soup, tteokbokki, udon broth, and pickled radish, pickles, and kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi). I was full before the main dishes even arrived.

Right after ordering, I ran straight to the self-bar. I was amazed to see it piled high with morning bread.

Next to it was a big rice cooker filled with warm soup — total nostalgic flavor. Perfect for gently warming up your stomach before the pork cutlet.

They even had warm tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) you could take unlimited servings of. The sweet-and-spicy sauce was so good I kept reaching for more — nearly filled up before the mains even came out!

There was hot udon broth too, which was great to pair with the kids' meal.

The basic side dishes — pickled radish, pickles, kkakdugi — were all neatly maintained too, which felt trustworthy. Being able to help yourself to as much as you needed without hesitation was really satisfying.

How were the bacon cream pasta, fried shrimp and hot pot pork cutlet?

That day at Tteudon Magok Branch we ordered bacon cream pasta topped with mini pork cutlet, fried shrimp, and hot pot pork cutlet. The portions were generous enough for the whole family to share.

The dish we ordered for the kids was bacon cream pasta with a mini pork cutlet on top. The savory cream sauce smell hit right away, and the look of it alone already earned a passing grade.

The fried shrimp we added on came out freshly fried, so it was super crispy outside and moist inside. Dipped in tartar sauce, it just melted in the mouth.

My husband's pick, the hot pot pork cutlet, had a spicy sauce pooled underneath with plenty of cheese piled on top.

The bold, spicy flavor cut right through the richness of the cutlet, and my husband kept saying how good it was as he ate. Overall the portions were generous enough for the whole family to share without any trouble. The cutlet meat itself was thick and completely clean of any off smell, giving it a real handmade feel.

Free dessert ice cream: chewy as gelato

After finishing the meal, you can enjoy ice cream for dessert near the entrance of Tteudon Magok Branch.

With chocolate, yogurt, strawberry, and matcha flavors available, it was fun picking one out. I assumed it was just ordinary ice cream, but I was surprised by how chewy the texture was, like gelato.

It wasn't too sweet but had a rich, premium taste, so the kids were happy right to the very end. From the play room to the self-bar spread, this place had everything a family with kids would love. With 2 hours of parking support too, it's a great spot to visit without worry and get a solid meal in.
