While searching for a good Gwacheon hanjeongsik (Korean set meal) restaurant, I want to introduce Najumyeonok Gwacheon Branch, a genuinely delicious Seoul Land restaurant! Since you can eat king galbi (short ribs) and gomtang (beef bone soup) together, I especially recommend it if you want a hearty meal. I visited Najumyeonok Gwacheon Branch looking for a good Gwacheon hanjeongsik spot. Many people looking for Gwacheon Seoul Land restaurants probably want somewhere easy to reach from the park.

Among Gwacheon restaurants, this one stands out for offering both galbi and guk-bap (soup with rice), so there's a wide range of menu options.
Store atmosphere and seating
And as you can see, the space is really spacious. There's also a private area, which looks great for group gatherings!

The image above shows the open, airy seating areas.

The image above is the private dining area~ There were other guests further in so I didn't take more photos, but it's a spacious area with more tables like that one!

We sat at this seat with a pretty view in the open outer area, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed enough for family meals or larger groups. (Next time I want to bring my parents here haha)
Menu lineup at Najumyeonok Gwacheon Branch

Najumyeonok, a Gwacheon restaurant, also has weekday hanjeongsik menus. There's a bulgogi hanjeongsik and a galbi hanjeongsik. I definitely want to try one of those next time I visit on a weekday~ We visited on a weekend, so we picked other dishes instead of the set menu.
This time we ordered two servings of hwangchil king galbi and Naju gomtang. And at the end we added mul-naengmyeon for dessert too~
They're also running a review event like this, and honestly, the gomtang broth was tempting me?! The gomtang was seriously that delicious!!!!! Even if you come for the galbi, I really recommend trying the gomtang at least once..!
Three reasons I recommend this place
First, the reason I recommend this as a Gwacheon Seoul Land restaurant is that you get to grill the meat yourself over charcoal! Even so, your clothes don't end up smelling of smoke and the smoke doesn't spread around, so you can eat comfortably — which makes me want to recommend it even more.

The second reason I recommend it as a Gwacheon Seoul Land restaurant: it's a great Gwacheon meat restaurant, a great Gwacheon Korean restaurant! The meat isn't tough — it's tender~

The last reason I recommend it as a Gwacheon Seoul Land restaurant: when you order meat, they give you a spicy sundae-guk (blood sausage soup) for free. Wow~ This is genuinely the first time I've ever gotten sundae-guk as a free side at a galbi restaurant.
The dried radish greens were hearty and there was plenty of blood sausage, so the two of us cleaned out a whole bowl in no time!
On top of that, if you're looking for a Gwacheon Seoul Land restaurant, it's great that the menu is so varied. There are dishes that combine naengmyeon (cold noodles) and galbi, like galbi mul-naengmyeon or galbi bibim-naengmyeon. If you're visiting alone, I'd recommend one of these meal options~
Hwangchil king galbi for two and side dishes
At Najumyeonok Gwacheon Branch, a Gwacheon hanjeongsik restaurant, we had the hwangchil king galbi.

True to its reputation as a Gwacheon hanjeongsik restaurant, the side dishes here come out beautifully arranged. They say fresh ingredients are carefully selected every day to prepare a proper meal. Knowing that every side dish and sauce is made in-house makes this feel like a Gwacheon hanjeongsik restaurant you can really trust!

The soy marinated crab (ganjang gejang) was delicious too! Adding it on costs an extra ₩4,000. The fresh kimchi (geotjeori) was especially amazing!

I chose the hwangchil king galbi since it's the signature dish. The meat was more tender than I expected and the portion was pretty generous. This is two servings~

I ended up here while searching for a Gwacheon restaurant, and grilling it directly over charcoal really made a difference in the aroma of the meat.

Once the hwangchil king galbi hit the charcoal, it sizzled away and this savory, sweet aroma just rose up haha
Meat grilled like this cuts easily with scissors too!

I put the nicely browned ribs onto lettuce wraps with various side dishes and wrapped them up to eat~
True to a Gwacheon hanjeongsik restaurant, eating it wrapped made it even better haha. The meat wasn't tough at all — it was tender and nice to chew, and the seasoning wasn't overly strong, pairing well with the charcoal aroma! If you're eating meat at a Gwacheon restaurant, definitely try it wrapped instead of just eating the meat alone.
Naju gomtang and mul-naengmyeon for dessert

We also ordered Naju gomtang on top of everything. My boyfriend said he wanted to try this gomtang. Since we already had the sundae-guk, I did wonder if we needed gomtang too — but I would've regretted it if we hadn't ordered it..!
The Naju gomtang was a clear-broth style — the broth felt more like galbitang than I expected, so I kept reaching for it more than I thought I would. If you're looking for a Gwacheon restaurant and you like a clean broth, I'd recommend the Naju gomtang too!
At the end, we added mul-naengmyeon for dessert. It was a refreshing way to cleanse the palate after all that meat!
Apparently the naengmyeon noodles here aren't the store-bought kind — they're known for hand-pulled noodles and a deep, refreshing broth! There's a tasting-size naengmyeon, so I'd recommend trying that size like we did haha. It really pairs well with the galbi~
Conclusion

If you're looking for a Gwacheon Seoul Land restaurant to visit with kids or for a family meal, I'd recommend this kind of hanjeongsik menu! I came with my boyfriend this time, but next time I want to bring my family for a proper family meal haha.
If you're looking for a hearty meat meal among Gwacheon Seoul Land restaurants, try the hwangchil king galbi at Najumyeonok, a great Gwacheon restaurant~~ The space is also clean and spacious, making it a comfortable place to eat!
