Icheon drive café for cream salt bread and multigrain latte: Cafe Arc
In short
Cafe Arc is a bakery café on Cheongbaengni-ro in Baeksa-myeon, Icheon, Gyeonggi. On a drive through Icheon, the writer tried fresh cream salt bread, an anbutter soboro (crumble bun with red bean paste and butter), a dark chocolate thin cookie, a multigrain latte and a peach iced tea, and relaxed in Cafe Arc's high-ceilinged, wood-toned space, which has baby chairs on both floors. I went out for a drive in Icheon and was craving something sweet, so I made my way to Cafe Arc (카페 아크). It's spacious yet cozy, a place where you can rest comfortably over sweet drinks and bakery treats, so I wanted to share it with you.
Where is Cafe Arc in Icheon? Hours and parking
Cafe Arc is at 67 Cheongbaengni-ro, Baeksa-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi. It's open Monday to Saturday 10:00–19:00 (last order 18:00) and closed every Sunday. You can park in the empty lot next to the café.

Cafe Arc is hidden behind some trees, so I looked around a little, haha, but it's right next to a GS25 convenience store, so you'll find it easily.

When does Cafe Arc's bread come out, and when is it discounted?
The bread at Cafe Arc comes out after 10 AM, and all breads are 30% off after 6 PM, so that's worth knowing.

The moment I opened the door, all kinds of baked goods caught my eye. I suddenly wanted dessert badly, and I loved it, haha.

The breads and drinks we ordered at Cafe Arc
This time at Cafe Arc I chose the fresh cream salt bread, the red bean butter sobokko bun (crumble-topped bun) and the dark choco thin cookie. There were so many breads I wanted that I agonized over it for a long time.

By the way, right next to the bread there are trays, baking paper, tongs and more, so take as much as you need.

The drink menu at Cafe Arc ranges from basic coffee to all sorts of other drinks. I chose the multigrain latte and the peach iced tea. There was also a brunch menu, so next time I'll have to come for brunch, haha.

What is the atmosphere like inside Cafe Arc?
Inside, warm wood tones and clean white furniture work well together, and the ceiling is high, so it doesn't feel stuffy at all. After choosing my menu I looked around, and the pleasant, stylish interior won me over. You could get a great photo from almost anywhere. The tables are spaced generously too, so it's a perfect spot for a private chat.

Pretty, sentimental little props are placed here and there, so taking photos was a lot of fun. On the 2nd floor there were tableware, blankets and other items available.
Is Cafe Arc good for visiting with a baby?
Cafe Arc has one baby chair on each of the 1st and 2nd floors, so it seems great for a light outing with a baby or for brunch.

How do the cream salt bread, anbutter soboro and dark chocolate cookie taste?
The drinks and bread came out on a lovely round tray, and it looked so good that I took photos without even thinking.

The first thing I tried, the fresh cream salt bread, was a perfect textbook sweet-and-salty. Soft, sweet milk cream is packed between the crispy-outside, moist-inside salt bread, and it melted the moment it hit my mouth. The cream is mild, so I enjoyed it to the very last bite.

The red bean butter sobokko bun has thick butter and sweet red bean paste packed between crumbly sobokko bread. The flavor of the red bean and butter you notice as you chew, plus the softness, blend so well that once you start, you can't stop.

The dark choco thin cookie I had with dessert is not too sweet and thin and crispy, so it was easy to keep nibbling on.

Cafe Arc's multigrain latte and peach iced tea
The multigrain latte at Cafe Arc tasted like misugaru (roasted grain powder drink), with a nutty grain flavor. The natural nuttiness and sweetness of the grains really come through, so I think older people and little kids would love it. And the peach iced tea, which I ordered when I wanted something refreshing, was sweet and cold, just right for quenching thirst.

Cafe Arc restroom and final verdict
There's a restroom on the 1st floor of Cafe Arc, and it was kept clean, so it was nice to be able to use it comfortably. I liked Cafe Arc for its friendly service and excellent desserts. If you want to heal and relax somewhere with a good atmosphere on a leisurely weekend, don't hesitate, just go.
