While wandering around the neighborhood that day, I finally visited Deombeogeo Bonjeom (덤버거 본점), a place I'd had saved for ages😆 I love handmade burgers, and this one is so famous that I was curious! I wanted to eat comfortably at home, so I ordered takeout, and I was even more satisfied than I expected, so let me introduce it✨

Deombeogeo Bonjeom is in an alley in Yeonnam-dong, and the yellow accents stand out even from far away, so it wasn't hard to find💛 The hip exterior has total Yeonnam-dong vibes, the kind of place you'd glance at even while passing by. Takeout customers kept coming in, too.

The moment you walk in, it's full of American vibes🍔 The hip mood and casual interior fit right in with Yeonnam-dong. There were solo diners and groups of friends, and the atmosphere was relaxed, so it seems easy to visit without any pressure. Next time I want to try a burger fresh out of the kitchen in the restaurant😋

Ordering was easy at the kiosk. After you order, you just check your number at the pickup zone and collect your food, done! The flow is neat, so visiting alone isn't a burden at all👍 There were lots of takeout customers and quite a few people eating in, too.

There's a dedicated sink for washing your hands

Inside the restaurant there's a separate sink for washing your hands. My personal favorite part✨ Burgers are eaten by hand, so being able to wash up easily before or after eating matters more than you'd think, right? I liked this kind of thoughtful detail👏

The takeout packaging was neat, and the burgers didn't lose their shape much. I opened them right when I got home! Handmade burgers often get squashed when packed to go, but these were in better shape than I expected, so I was happy🤍 They already looked delicious.

If you like cheese, you have to order the Triple Cheese Burger🧀 You can see it's packed with cheese just by looking, and the moment you take a bite, a rich cheese flavor hits you. The patty is thick and the cheese is generous, so I was really satisfied. Personally, if you like cheeseburgers, I highly recommend it😆

What kind of burger is the Dumbird Burger?

The Dumbird Burger is Deombeogeo's signature menu item, with a beef patty and a chicken patty together. This one was really intriguing🍔🍗 The combination was much better than I expected. Juicy beef patty plus the crispy texture of a chicken patty made it fun to eat. I could see why it's the signature burger!
