How does parking differ by day?

You can park in the building if you drive, but the rules differ by day, so check before you visit. On Sundays and public holidays, park in the front lot outside the ground-floor entrance. On weekdays the parking space inside the building isn't very roomy, so taking public transport is the stress-free choice.

For the season, Urban Ground Hair Sangwangsimni Station Branch was decorated with an autumn feel. The photo zone, the mirrors and the lockers were all prettily dressed up with fallen leaves.

While I sat waiting, they brought me iced coffee and a snack, which nicely took the edge off my tiredness.

What are the steps of the Nanoheal clinic?

The Nanoheal clinic at Urban Ground Hair Sangwangsimni Station Branch went in this order: cleansing, then a spray, then protein cream with 15 minutes of heat, then a coating. The first step is cleansing with a special shampoo to clear away the buildup stuck to the scalp and hair. A clean base means the nutrients soak in fully instead of sitting on top. Back at the seat, Step 1 is a liquid spray misted evenly over wet hair so moisture and nutrition absorb deeply.

To boost absorption, they also lightly blow-dried my hair with lukewarm air. Step 2 is applying a highly concentrated protein cream to rebuild the hair's framework. I could feel how carefully they worked through this part.

The cream is worked in between the cuticles strand by strand, then you sit under a heat machine for 15 minutes while the nutrients reach the core. Step 3 finishes the clinic with a coating that closes the opened cuticles so the nutrients can't escape.

How was the scalp head spa at this Centras salon?

The scalp head spa at Urban Ground Hair, the Centras salon, also earned quite high marks from me. The shampoo area where you get the clinic and head spa is partitioned off privately, so you can relax and enjoy a massage chair in comfort.

I lay back comfortably on the shampoo bed, a head spa cleansing gel was spread over my whole scalp, and a soft, cooling massage began. I was told the gel is made from natural ingredients and mild enough that even pregnant women can use it, which made me trust it more. As the pressure-point massage went on, a cooling sensation spread through every corner of my scalp and it felt like all the built-up heat drained away. Then a warm steam machine gently melted and drew out the residue left in my pores, which felt wonderfully refreshing.

After rinsing off the buildup, they carefully applied separate treatments for the hair and for the scalp, each suited to its purpose. Back at the seat, they sprayed on plenty of scalp ampoule. I'd secretly worried that ampoules would make my hair heavy and greasy, but the designer said not to worry because it's a product she carefully selected and finishes light with no oiliness. And sure enough, it stayed fresh with no stickiness as time passed.

Another great point: when drying my hair, they mixed lukewarm and cool air instead of using hot air. I'm wary of high heat for the sake of my hair and scalp, so this kind of detailed consideration really impressed me.

How did my hair change after the Nanoheal clinic?

After the Nanoheal clinic, the finishing essence and a careful cut, the feel under my fingertips was clearly different. She had said my hair might feel a little heavy, and when I touched it myself I understood exactly what she meant. It didn't feel shiny only on the surface like a coating; it felt dense and firm, packed with protein right to the inner core. It really delivered the texture of strong, healthy hair rather than damaged hair.
