Fixed-price Seongsu ring workshop for mismatched couple rings: Robenta

Today I want to tell you about a special memory we made in Seongsu.

Where is Robenta Seongsu?

Robenta Seongsu is a ring workshop right in front of you as soon as you come out of Seongsu Station Exit 3. Location is one of the big things when choosing a workshop, right? Robenta Seongsu was perfect on that front, and there was no need to wander around looking for it.

With the weather this hot, not having to walk far from the station was a huge plus. Seongsu is packed with people and the alleys are confusing, so being right by the station really matters! It's the ideal route for anyone using public transport~! After I drove to Seongsu last time and struggled so badly with parking, I only ever come by subway now.

How do you choose couple ring samples at Robenta Seongsu?

The tables at Robenta Seongsu display couple ring samples in a huge range of designs, and you can try them on freely before choosing. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a cozy yet stylish workshop atmosphere.

Every one of them was so pretty that we deliberated for ages. They told us we were free to try them on and pick.

What I liked most about Robenta Seongsu was that the price was clearly written on every sample! At workshops and jewelry shops like this, constantly asking "How much is this?" or "How much with extra options?" can feel a bit awkward and stressful, right?

But Robenta Seongsu has everything priced like a fixed-price shop, so we could compare and choose without any pressure.

Can couples with different tastes choose different ring designs?

At Robenta Seongsu, couple rings don't have to be the identical design. You can each go with a different design that suits your own hand and that you like. It was a fantastic place for people like us, whose tastes are completely different!

It was great fun matching the color, shine and a little accent so that the designs are different but still quietly feel like a set.

How does the ring-making class at Robenta Seongsu work?

At Robenta Seongsu, the instructor handles the difficult work safely and explains it, while steps you can do yourself, like sanding and polishing, are guided right beside you. The instructor was so kind and taught us step by step from start to finish, so we never stopped laughing while making them.

"It's turning out so pretty!" We were chatting away and the time really flew by. It wasn't just a purchase, but time spent making something together with care, which made it the best Seongsu activity.

What to do in Seongsu during the 1 hour 30 minute wait

After finishing our work on the rings at Robenta Seongsu, we needed to wait about 1 hour 30 minutes for the final finishing and setting. Since the workshop is near Seongsu's main street, the wait wasn't boring at all.

We went out to a hip, stylish café nearby for tasty desserts, browsed the small goods shops, and had a full, fun date. An hour and a half really passed quickly! Seongsu is just so crowded, haha. But that also means there's so much to do and see, which is great.

How did the finished mismatched couple rings turn out?

We came back to Robenta Seongsu on time and picked up our finished couple rings, and we were absolutely delighted! The marks of our own handiwork were topped with the expert's delicate finishing (I think quite a lot got added, haha. They came out so pretty), the shine was lustrous, and they felt very smooth to wear.

Our designs differ because our tastes differ, but maybe because they're meaningful rings we made together, I like them and feel more attached to them than to any luxury-brand ring you could buy.
