Where is Simkung Piercing Jamsil? Underground mall near exit 5

Simkung Piercing Jamsil is inside the Jamsil Station underground shopping mall, close to exit 5. Jamsil's underground mall is so huge that it's easy to get lost, but this shop is really easy to find. Perfect route if you're coming by public transit.

Since it's in the underground mall, weather doesn't matter, so it's a great spot to stop by after work or while shopping near Lotte World Mall.

The moment I walked in, the bright, sleek interior caught my eye. Overall, Simkung Piercing Jamsil felt very clean and well maintained.

The inside is laid out so you can browse the piercings comfortably.

When I arrived, the person ahead of me was getting a new belly button piercing. I've had my ears pierced so many times, but there's no way I could ever do a belly button, too scary for me haha. If people come here for that, the owner's skill must be reliable!

Piercing types and materials, from silver to 14K gold and titanium

The walls and display cases at Simkung Piercing Jamsil were lined with a huge selection of piercings, all neatly arranged. From basic simple barbells to cute little cubic accents, adorable character shapes, and luxe drop designs, everything was sorted well by category.

Beyond standard metal, there was a wide range of materials for sensitive skin too — silver, 14K gold, titanium — so there was plenty to choose from.

Besides piercings, they also carry necklaces and rings, so it's a good one-stop shop.

Can a closed-up tragus piercing be redone?

I got my trager pierced years ago and wore it happily for a long time. But at some point I started leaving it out more and more, and the hole ended up closing up slightly. It wasn't fully closed with skin growing over it, just a very faint mark left behind.

So I told the owner I wanted this spot re-pierced, and picked a flat ball design.

How clean is the piercing station?

The space where the procedure happens had a sterilizer, disposable gloves, and disinfectant cotton all neatly set up, which put my mind at ease about hygiene.

How long the tragus piercing took: under a minute

I stopped by briefly since I had plans nearby in Jamsil, and it took under a minute to get it done.

Back home, checking it out in the mirror from every angle, I felt an instant mood boost — that spot that had just been a dented, bugging mark for so long now had a small sparkling cubic sitting right in place. No swelling or throbbing pain I'd worried about either, so I was very happy with it.
