What bread Milbat Bakery Pyeongchon sells
The first thing I noticed looking around Milbat Bakery was how many unusual menu items they had that you don't easily see at other bakeries. It wasn't just the usual breads — there were plenty I was seeing for the first time, which made browsing fun in itself. I was actually torn over what to pick.

A bakery where you can taste before you buy ~

Isn't the bread lineup amazing~? Apparently all the cakes use dairy cream too, and there are so many kinds haha. I think I need to order my birthday cake from here next time~
Taste test: basil tomato bread, green onion potato bread and fresh cream castella
What I bought at Milbat Bakery Pyeongchon: basil tomato bread ₩6,800, green onion potato bread ₩6,500, and fresh cream castella ₩6,900.
Basil tomato bread, 6,800 won

Basil tomato bread with a light hint of basil fragrance! It's a wholesome savory bread combining basil, tomato, and Emmental cream cheese. The tangy tomato, fragrant basil, and rich, smooth Emmental cream cheese come together really well. It's mild yet flavorful in a way that keeps you reaching for more. The basil scent isn't overpowering, so even my grandmother liked it^^
Green onion potato bread, 6,500 won

This was the tastiest of all the breads I tried this time. It's packed with potato mousse, making it soft, and it pairs beautifully with the flavor of the green onion — I kept reaching for more.
Fresh cream castella, 6,900 won
Soft castella with a touch of tangy lemon made it easy to eat all the way through without feeling heavy. It went even better with a glass of milk. You can really feel the care put into every single piece of bread here. They don't skimp on ingredients, and you can tell the flavors were made with real effort — I was so satisfied eating this.
I'm definitely coming back again to try other breads next time^^ If you're looking for a Pyeongchon bakery, I really recommend this one💛
