Ikseon-dong takeout bakery before the 3pm sellout: Munhwa Bakery
Munhwa Bakery is a takeout-only bakery in Ikseon-dong, Jongno, Seoul, right in front of exit 7 of Jongno 3-ga Station. Arriving on a weekday before 3pm meant a wait of 5–6 people before taking home garlic bread for 6,800 won, an onion bagel for 6,000 won and walnut bread for 3,500 won, plus a bite of injeolmi (sweet rice cake) bread as a sample. Since much of the menu sells out later in the afternoon, a weekday visit before 3pm is the easiest way to shop at Munhwa Bakery.
