I was craving tacos so badly on a weekday evening that I went to Teolbone Taco (털보네 타코 식당), a well-known taco spot near Konkuk University Station.
Teolbone Taco location, opening hours and parking
Teolbone Taco is at 60 Ttukseom-ro 23-gil, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the first floor. It is open every day from 17:00 to 02:00 the next day and closed on Mondays. Parking is available for one car, first come, first served, and takeout, Naver reservations and corkage (for a fee) are also offered.
Just follow the map and you'll soon arrive at Teolbone Taco, glowing in red lights!
Even from far away it gives off such a hot vibe ♥ It honestly felt like I'd gone on a little trip 🥹
What is the atmosphere like inside Teolbone Taco?
The shop isn't huge, but there are quite a few bar stools to sit on, haha. Maybe because it's such a popular taco place near Konkuk University Station, there were quite a few takeout customers even while we were eating 🥺 The moment I walked in, it felt like stepping into a hot spot in a vacation town..!! ✨
What we ordered for two: fajita, quesadilla and special ramyeon
The three dishes we picked were the charcoal-galbi-style pork fajita for two, the coconut syrup and cheddar cheese quesadilla, and the spicy Teolbone special ramyeon (instant noodles). Eek.. so many delicious-looking dishes 🥺 My boyfriend and I took forever choosing.. everything looked so good..! The ones we chose after serious thought were ‼️

How do you eat the charcoal-grilled galbi-style pork fajita?
The charcoal-galbi-style pork fajita at Teolbone Taco has a strong, vivid charcoal aroma. Ta-da.. look at this fajita.. amazing, right? ㅠㅠ The charcoal smell is so good too. Charcoal flavor with pork is just wow.. 🫶🏻
I first loaded up the pork, tomato and veggies (?), pineapple and sour cream, and ate it.. it's so good, everyone ㅠ Crazy delicious.. 🥺❤️ First of all the bread? tortilla itself is tasty, haha, honestly it's all just delicious.. the best.. I want to eat it again even as I write this..!!
Wrapping it up and eating it with gusto.. ㅠㅠ❤ Somehow tacos feel like they don't make you fat (?) haha
Under the fajita there's a warm, stew-like (?) layer of beans and tomato sauce, and eating it together makes yet another flavor.. haha. I was wolfing it down so fast that I spilled on my clothes ㅠ🥹 lol. The owner heard while working ㅠㅠ and handed me a wet wipe first, so kind..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I want to get takeout next time too.. My boyfriend lives nearby, so I'm happy.

Is the coconut syrup and cheddar quesadilla too greasy?
The coconut syrup and cheddar cheese quesadilla (₩7,800) at Teolbone Taco was not heavy at all, and the sweet coconut sauce was the kicker. This.. is totally my style. Since it was a cheese quesadilla, I thought it would be greasy? cloying? but not at all…! A thin tortilla with a nutty cheese feel..! And above all, the kicker,, is the coconut sauce 🥺🫶🏻 The sweet coconut sauce goes so well with the quesadilla.. it totally hits the spot for a bread lover ( º﹃º )ღ
How spicy is the Teolbone special ramyeon?
The spicy Teolbone special ramyeon (₩8,800) is a hearty, spicy ramyeon where you stir in daedagi (seasoned chili paste). And.. the grand finale, my boyfriend's pick 🍜 the spicy Teolbone special ramyeon..🥺👍🏻 You stir in the daedagi, swish swish, and the spicy, hearty flavor is great. I can't eat spicy food well so I only had one bite, but it was deliciously savory..!! My boyfriend cleaned out the whole bowl, hahaha.
The portion was honestly quite big, but it was so tasty that it kept going into my mouth, like magic.. we kept saying how delicious it was, haha. Ramyeon, tortilla, ramyeon, tortilla, on repeat! A review of two people finishing everything with gusto.. ❤️
Would we go back to Teolbone Taco for another date?
Living up to its reputation as a taco spot near Konkuk University Station, Teolbone Taco had all three dishes so delicious 🥺 I'll come back whenever I'm craving tacos! Definitely planning a revisit..♥
