Today I'm introducing a genuinely, genuinely, genuinely, genuinely delicious taco place near Konkuk University Station. Can you feel my sincerity? It's seriously that good. Everyone should go visit — Teolbone Taco.

How to walk to Teolbone Taco from Konkuk University Station

Teolbone Taco is near Konkuk CGV, and it's about a 7-minute walk from Konkuk University Station! It's tucked a bit inside an alley, so it seems like a place you'd struggle to stumble on by chance, ㅜㅜ. But I'm sure once you go once, it's such a good spot you'll keep coming back and make it your regular place. If you like tacos, I think you'll all love it — take a look at the photos and review!

A taco place bathed in red light — I loved the red-and-green combo. I thought it'd be hard to find tucked in the alley, but once I got close, this sign was the only thing glowing around, haha. It stood out right away, which was nice.

Inside Teolbone Taco: bar tables and a red-lit pub mood

The inside of Teolbone Taco has a pub vibe, and all the tables are bar tables. The door was open and the AC was blasting~.

The lighting was really striking. Once inside I felt like I'd traveled somewhere abroad, lala~. It was surreal to find a whole different world tucked away in this alley, haha. The lighting and interior decor pieces were super consistent and well put together, so the atmosphere was great. Whoever picked the lighting really nailed it!!! They also had upbeat music playing, which got me in the mood.

The interior is also very clean. I arrived around 6:30pm on a weekday evening, so it wasn't crowded. I sat down and took a few photos — the atmosphere was so good it really felt like I was traveling,,

They kept the AC nice and cool too, so I ate very comfortably! Those little interior props felt so tastefully chosen, haha — everything matched the mood so well...

What comes in the ₩30,000 two-person taco set, and how does it taste?

What I ordered was the 2-person set — DIY tacos you assemble yourself. It cost about ₩30,000, which felt very reasonable. These days a single taco can run ₩12,000... but here you can wrap up 4 for that price ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

First off, the meat had this real charcoal-grilled smell — it smelled seriously amazing. The jalapeños and sauces that came as sides were all so good too.

For the wraps, we got two thick breads and six thin tortillas. I was originally going to order beef, but they told me the pork here is even better. So I switched to pork right away.

That soup-like thing up there was crazy good too... I really love mixing everything together, so I stuffed all the sauces and sides between that thick bread with a ton of meat and took a huge bite — oh man, it was the best.

The plating is really clean too.

The lighting really suits the tacos. Taco, are you warm-toned too...? The visuals were no joke. The portion was huge too — the two of us ate until we were really full.

See this? My taco turned into a jar of pure desire,,, I piled everything on and just went for it.

Absurdly delicious... honestly the sauce was so good I could've just eaten it dipped by itself. I also tried folding it up like this to eat.

Is Teolbone Taco worth it before a movie or for a beer?

I ate so, so well... it's really delicious. I'd 100% go back, and if I have a friend who loves tacos, I'll definitely be dragging them to Teolbone Taco. The owner was friendly too, and clearly took pride in the tacos 👍 It'd be great for just grabbing tacos before a movie, and if you have the time, having a beer together sounds nice too. The atmosphere is just too good...!!! Go visit soon!!!
