Where is Daily Fix? An alley behind Yeoksam Station

Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch is a burger restaurant located behind Yeoksam Station, in an alley lined with restaurants. I used to work around Yeoksam Station and played around there plenty too, but I had no idea there was an alley this packed with restaurants right behind the station!

Seeing hospitals around here too, I get the feeling that once the hospitals opened, a bunch of good restaurants followed.

With an interior that really pops among all the other restaurants, Daily Fix is one of the Yeoksam Station spots famous for the burger that Davichi's Kang Min-kyung raved about.

I wondered what "Daily Fix" even meant, but seeing "Mon–Sun Fix" written up, I think it means the burgers are good enough to be your daily fix.

Walking in with high expectations, I spotted Donald Duck and Daisy Duck way in the back. They were my favorite characters as a kid, right after Mickey and Minnie, so seeing them just made my heart open right up haha! Felt like they were welcoming me!

Beyond being a Yeoksam Station favorite, Daily Fix could also be called a good-deed restaurant. It's part of a warm companionship / sharing / good-store initiative working toward a world without barriers for people with disabilities. A place with great food and a good heart deserves to do even better!!!

You order at Daily Fix through a kiosk, and the two of us ordered a total of ₩39,600 worth of food.

Every table comes pre-set with a few basics. If you need anything else, there's a self-bar next to the counter where you can just grab what you want.

The Coke Zero came out first. In this brutal summer heat, that fizzy, sharp gulp of soda feels like the only thing keeping me going!

Bacon cheese fries, 7,900 won: the side to get

Daily Fix's Bacon Cheese Fries are ₩7,900 — crispy shoestring fries topped with cheese sauce, well-cooked bacon, and onion. The fries arrived! Wow, I'm completely obsessed with cheese this gooey!!!

Wow... this is insanely good. So, so delicious.

I never knew fries and bacon could go together this well. This isn't hard, crunchy bacon — it's soft, and it pairs perfectly with the thick cheese.

If you love that full-on rich combo of fries, bacon, and cheese, I really recommend ordering the Bacon Cheese Fries as a side at Daily Fix.

Eating them with pickles from the self-bar, it's the kind of taste you could eat endlessly!

I finished the whole thing without even needing the ketchup they gave us — I was totally won over by the cheese flavor alone haha.

Pastrami sandwich, 15,900 won, and that ciabatta

Daily Fix's Bacon Cheeseburger and Pastrami Sandwich came out at the same time! I don't even remember when it happened, but I've completely fallen for the charm of hand-made burgers.

The ciabatta bread was genuinely charming — crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.

When I cut it in half to share, it fell apart cleanly right down the middle. Crispy-chewy bread, tender meat, and tangy-sweet cabbage — the combination of the three worked together beautifully.

Bacon cheeseburger, 12,900 won, praised by Kang Min-kyung

The Bacon Cheese, famous as "Kang Min-kyung's burger" at Daily Fix, is ₩12,900. It's the combination of house-smoked bacon and a thick patty made from 100% Hanwoo beef. *Contains peanuts and some tree nut ingredients. Look at that bacon poking out~ I usually don't love bacon because it's often too hard, but the bacon here at Daily Fix was so soft and delicious!

Ahh... now I get why Kang Min-kyung raved about this.

As you can see in the photos, the combo of bacon, patty, onion, and cheese was seriously delicious. The moment I took a bite,

Mmmm~~~

came out — that kind of happy little hum you make without meaning to haha.

Good thing we each ate half of each. The Bacon Cheese and the Pastrami Sandwich taste so different that if you visit Daily Fix, I really recommend ordering both of these.

Receipt review event and the chefs' New York background

True to its reputation as a Yeoksam Station favorite, Daily Fix was also running a Naver receipt review event — choose either coleslaw or corn salad. It's nothing like KFC's coleslaw, way more upscale, and it's a free item normally priced at ₩5,900, so definitely take advantage of this event.

Daily Fix, the Yeoksam Station favorite, says it serves quality food based on know-how built up over many years by chefs who came from 3-star and 2-star Michelin restaurants in New York. It's reportedly the restaurant that placed second in the Korea Burger Championship by just 0.02 points, and both the bacon and the pastrami are made entirely by hand from start to finish.

A spilled drink at the next table and how the staff handled it

And one more thing worth praising! At the table next to us, someone spilled their drink everywhere with a huge crash. A staff member rushed over immediately, asked if they were okay, if anyone got hurt, and then got right down on their knees to clean it all up. The person who actually spilled the drink just sat there, while the staff member cleaned up so gracefully — I think that kind of thing is exactly why Daily Fix has become even more famous as a Yeoksam Station spot.

That tall male staff member at the counter was seriously impressive!! If the owner happens to read this, please don't let that person go!!
