Gangdong egg shop for department-store free-range eggs: Fresh Farmer
In short
Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store is an animal-welfare egg shop on the B1 level of Olympic Park Foreon in Dunchondong, Gangdong, Seoul. The writer used the kiosk to buy two kinds of eggs in the same packaging sold at department stores: a 10-pack of shell-code No. 1 free-range eggs (₩12,800) and shell-code No. 2 animal-welfare fertilized eggs (₩7,900). The writer then fried the No. 1 eggs and soft-boiled the No. 2 eggs. Verdict: the No. 1 free-range egg, with a rich yolk and no fishy taste, was the writer's top pick.

Where is Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store?
Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store is at the back of the B1 level of the Olympic Park Foreon complex in Dunchondong. The complex is huge, so there are directory maps all over; just follow them.
A friend used to live in Dunchondong, so it's a familiar neighborhood for me. It had been so long that the apartment complex felt like a totally different world, but even though the buildings had changed, my heart still felt like it was back in the old childhood days, so I walked in feeling right at home.
Olympic Park Foreon is so big that there were maps like this everywhere. I arrived at B1 first. Now where do I go? I searched, and it turned out to be toward the back.

Ohh! Easy to find!

"The miracle of two eggs a day" sounds like a line that would make me a healthier person +_+

What does the Fresh Farmer shop show you?
At Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store, the displays properly show where the hens live, what they are fed, and how the eggs come out. True to a Gangdong egg shop, the explanation starts with the rearing environment.
Fresh Farmer hens eat feed made from precious ingredients, like the 9-dish royal table (9cheop banssang) once eaten by kings. Eggs laid by hens with strong immunity, running freely in wide natural surroundings, are a tonic in themselves. Taste the difference the moment you eat an egg that carries our unrivaled philosophy and values.
I didn't know about this text until now. Honestly, I never really understood how much eggs matter, and I used to just buy whatever had lots of reviews. But after hearing the owner's explanation at Fresh Farmer and trying a free-range fertilized egg, wow.. it was seriously delicious! So that's why what they're raised in and what they're fed matters so much! Anyway, I'll explain in more detail below with photos.

I'm told Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store is unmanned most of the time. You can see the eggs stored fresh in the fridge.

Are these the eggs I saw in department stores?
The store notice said Fresh Farmer is the No. 1 selling egg in department stores. Below is the brand description exactly as posted in the store.
The No. 1 selling egg in department stores nationwide. Fresh Farmer has long sold a special egg that only those in the know eat in department stores, and as of 2025 it has held the No. 1 department store sales spot for 5 years in a row. Based on steady research and development, we have also built an additional directly run farm, continually improving production volume and quality. Fresh Farmer handles only animal-welfare eggs and produces and sells only top-grade eggs with shell numbers 1 and 2. We are a specialist animal-welfare egg company in the top 0.1% in Korea, with even a patent for effects in preventing and improving brain disease, dementia, breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
Reading that, I looked closer and remembered seeing this packaging at a department store food counter! Ahh, so those department store eggs can be bought this easily in my own neighborhood~ I also vaguely recall being told they deliver only to Olympic Park Foreon residents, but I can't remember exactly and I could be wrong, so please be sure to ask at the store.
From the photos alone I just thought, meh, okay~ I assumed the colors were edited. But when I cracked an egg at home, it looked exactly like the photo!
You can also see photos of Fresh Farmer's directly run farm-

There were all kinds of patent certificates, R&D recognition certificates, confirmations, test reports and information. Seeing these, my trust kept going up!
Huh..? I know this person! The dietitian who was on You Quiz, famous for amazing budget school meals! So that dietitian approves of these Fresh Farmer eggs too. Woah~~

They say eggs are a complete food that the body absorbs 100%. Ah.. I feel bad about how carelessly I'd been eating eggs until now. This made me decide to give myself good eggs!
I also filmed a video panning across the clean, tidy, trustworthy-looking interior.

How do you buy Fresh Farmer eggs, and what do they cost?
Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store is often unmanned, so you take eggs from the fridge and order at the kiosk. The No. 1 free-range 10-pack was ₩12,800, and the No. 2 animal-welfare fertilized eggs were ₩7,900.
Price-wise, these eggs are in a higher range than a regular supermarket, so you might hesitate at first, but I hope you'll try them once with the mindset of investing in quality for your body! Why? Because my own mindset changed completely after tasting Fresh Farmer eggs.

I pressed the No. 1 free-range 10-pack at ₩12,800 and the No. 2 animal-welfare fertilized eggs at ₩7,900.
Ta-da! Now I'm taking them home!

Yep! This is the packaging I saw in the department store! It feels so strange seeing it in my own home, haha

With the cover off, these plump eggs appear before my eyes! Wow.. I'm only looking at the outside and my mouth is already watering.

Shell numbers 1 and 2 are clearly stamped on each.
What are No. 1 free-range eggs like as fried eggs?
I tried the Fresh Farmer No. 1 free-range egg as a fried egg, and the yolk had no fishy taste at all, just a thick, rich flavor. The white was springy too, top tier among all the eggs I've had.
How should I eat them? I decided to make a fried egg with the No. 1.

Wow! The yolk is so plump and bouncy! How is it so domed?! It looks so cute and makes you want to eat it right away. I was told yolk color changes depending on the feed, and this was the moment my own eyes proved it, so I took both video and photos.
Ah.. so this is why it's No. 1.. so this is why it's a top Gangdong egg.. is what I thought. The taste of this No. 1 free-range 10-pack: the yolk has absolutely no fishy taste and a very thick, rich flavor. It feels like it's literally shouting "protein!" Like protein is soaking into your whole body? And why is the white so springy?! Top tier among all eggs I've eaten. I can say flatly that the eggs at Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store are number one.
No. 2 animal-welfare fertilized eggs, soft-boiled
I boiled the Fresh Farmer No. 2 animal-welfare fertilized eggs soft. They were bouncy and springy in texture and tasty, but my top pick was the No. 1 free-range.
Perfectly soft-boiled, right +_+ Eggs should be soft-boiled! This was bouncy and springy too, and so delicious. Still, my top pick is the No. 1 free-range!
Who would I recommend Fresh Farmer eggs to?
The price is a bit higher than regular supermarket eggs, but if you want to give yourself precious eggs, if you want to take in proper protein, or if you're looking for eggs with no fishy smell, I recommend going to Fresh Farmer Olympic Park Foreon Direct Store and trying real, proper eggs!
