Juan café with parking in Incheon: croffle and matcha latte, Tiny Dot

In short

Tiny Dot is a roastery café that fills an entire four-story building in Juan, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. Orders are placed on the first floor — Tiny Dot's stone-mill matcha latte, a cold brew americano and a croffle — and enjoyed on the second floor, with more seating on the third and fourth. The matcha, made from Hadong tea leaves ground in the café's own stone mill, tastes smooth rather than bitter, and dedicated parking in front of and behind the building makes Tiny Dot easy to reach by car.

Every time I drove past a certain café building, it caught my eye — and today I finally visited it. It's Tiny Dot, a large café in Juan that occupies an entire four-story building.

Where do you park at Tiny Dot?

Tiny Dot occupies the whole four-story building, and there's dedicated parking both in front of and behind it. That made visiting by car really convenient.

I always check parking before visiting anywhere, and having a dedicated parking space like this at Tiny Dot was such a relief.

First floor: on-site roasting, beans and drip bags for sale

The first floor of Tiny Dot had so many kinds of beans on display. Since it's a hand drip café, all these varieties of beans filled the space.

They sell both drip bags and beans. Being a roastery café, of course that's possible!

This is the first-floor space. See the roasting machine behind the glass window? They roast their own beans and sell them, and also supply them to other cafés! You already know the coffee is going to taste good, right?

They also have siphon coffee.

In coffee terms, 'siphon' refers to a brewing method (and device) that uses two glass vessels and the principles of pressure and vacuum to extract coffee. So 'siphon coffee' means coffee brewed using this siphon extraction method.

What's on the Tiny Dot menu?

I wanted to try Tiny Dot's signature drink, Orange Dot, but I went with something a bit more special instead. Sesame Dot and Perilla Seed Dot — just the names sound so nutty and like they'd pair well with coffee.

What makes Tiny Dot's stone-mill matcha latte different?

So what did I order?

  • Stone-mill matcha latte
  • Cold brew americano
  • Croffle

That was my order. While I waited, I looked around the space. I said I ordered something a bit more special — that's the stone-mill matcha latte, and here's why it's special: they actually grind Hadong (하동) green tea leaves in a real stone mill. 👍🏻

Look at this! They said it's a stone mill they made themselves. Isn't that fascinating? Haha. After admiring the neat stone mill, my drink was ready, so I headed up to the second floor and explored around Tiny Dot.

On the stairs up to the second floor there was something that looked related to roasting — I'm not exactly sure what, but it caught my eye so I snapped a photo.

Second-floor seating and atmosphere

Tiny Dot has seating from the second all the way up to the fourth floor. On the second floor, each seating area is styled with a different mood, so even though it's the same floor, every seat feels fresh and different.

My croffle, stone-mill matcha latte, and cold brew americano arrived.

How the croffle and stone-mill matcha latte taste

Even from a distance, the croffle smelled so good that I found myself picking up my fork without even realizing it. Haha, bread-lover instincts kicking in! The croffle I had for dessert was slightly sweet and so delicious. 😋 They say all of Tiny Dot's desserts are handmade with good ingredients. It wasn't tasty for no reason — haha.

Since the Hadong tea leaves are ground directly in the stone mill, you can actually see the texture of the particles more clearly. I thought that might make it taste more bitter, but it was the opposite — so smooth! I love matcha lattes, but I can't handle ones that are too bitter. Tiny Dot's stone-mill matcha latte was so smooth that I enjoyed every sip.

There was even a full-length mirror in the spot where we sat, which made it feel like a bit of a photo spot.

Third-floor work seats and fourth-floor group bookings

While enjoying my drink on the second floor, I got curious about the other spaces and popped up for a quick look. There's an elevator too. Plants everywhere made the place feel nice and green.

I came up to the third floor.

Third-floor seating at Tiny Dot, good for working

This was the third floor, where people were mostly quietly chatting or working on their laptops. There were also seats that looked good for enjoying alone.

This is the fourth-floor space. It looked like a great space to rent for a private event. If a group books ahead of time, they'll set up the space just for them, so it seems worth using for gatherings.

I took one more look at the space where I'd enjoyed my drinks and dessert before heading out. A café that's even more delicious for roasting fresh beans daily, grinding Hadong tea leaves in a stone mill for a smooth matcha latte, and making all its desserts by hand!
