Suwon bakery café with lettering stamps & Orange Bianco: Orange Bagel
In short
Orange Bagel is a large three-floor bakery café on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon. In October, the writer toured Orange Bagel's Halloween-decorated floors 1 to 3, tried the lettering stamps and ordered an Orange Bianco (8,500 won), a pepperoni bagel (6,300 won) and a scallion cream bacon bagel (8,500 won). With its spacious floors, easy parking and tasty bagels and drinks, Orange Bagel makes a great stop on a Suwon day out.

I love bread so much that hunting down pretty cafés and famous Suwon bakeries every weekend is my little form of healing ♥ This time I finally visited Orange Bagel, a Suwon bread-pilgrimage spot I'd saved on Instagram again and again!
Haha, the interior looks like it cost a fortune, it's overwhelming, and everyone says the bagels are amazing, so I really wanted to go. Spoiler: the bagels are great across the board, and I got a culture shock from a drink called Orange Bianco. Here's my honest, fresh review of this Suwon bakery.
Where is Orange Bagel, and what are the hours and parking?
Orange Bagel is at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, and it's open daily from 07:30 to 21:00 (last order 20:30). There's plenty of parking in front of the building, so I parked in one go with zero stress, which I really liked.
The moment you arrive, the grand, huge building grabs your eye and you suddenly feel like you're on some New York street. It's not greasy-heavy but poppy, with lots of New York vibes. Totally my style!

What's the atmosphere inside Orange Bagel?

The shop is wide and pleasant, and as soon as you step in there's a faint, toasty smell of baking bread. My mood lifted from the second I opened the door.

1F: floor-to-ceiling windows, sofa seats and Halloween decor
The first floor has wide floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the room with natural light, plus soft sofa seats, so it's a good place to come with friends or family.
I visited in October, so Halloween decorations were all over the shop! Kids would go absolutely crazy for it!
New York-style goods and lettering stamps for journaling
The first floor has a display with a strong New York feel, so browsing is fun too. Lots of kitschy, humorous items, and there were so many I wanted to buy that I broke a sweat guarding my wallet.
You can also try the fun lettering stamps yourself, so if you do journaling decoration (dakku), bring your notebook and stamp away!

2F: a moody date space with rooms and a terrace
The second floor is a bit quieter and more sentimental than the first. Stylish lighting and cozy interiors come together, so it seems like the perfect spot for couples looking for a Suwon date course.

There are large tables that can seat big groups, a cozy room area that looks like a hip room brought right in, and even a terrace, on the second floor but open to the sun through a half-open window. With so many kinds of spaces, you'll be happy whoever you come with!
3F: a real rooftop
The third floor is a truly proper rooftop! It's wonderful on a nice day like these days.
How many kinds of bagels does Orange Bagel have?

A long bakery counter runs down the middle of the shop, and the bagels and breads on display are so varied my jaw dropped. True to its reputation as a Suwon spot with lots of bread, the range of bagels and bakery items is huge, so you have a really wide choice.

On one side, drinks are on display, along with cold sandwiches and this month's signature bagel.

Chestnut cream bagel, sweet pumpkin bagel, cinnamon bagel. Pretty fancy, right? Orange Bagel put me in a happy dilemma over what to eat. There are so many bagels that choosing took forever. Still drooling looking at them again...♥
It seems you can also get 4 bagels boxed up like this. The box is stylish too, so it works as a gift. You'll definitely be called thoughtful.
What I ordered and the prices
- Scallion cream bacon bagel ₩8,500
- Pepperoni bagel ₩6,300
- Orange Bianco ₩8,500
- Americano ₩5,500
What does Orange Bianco taste like? (iced only)

Orange Bianco is a unique, appealing drink that pairs bright orange with a nutty latte. At Orange Bagel it can only be ordered iced, and it costs ₩8,500. I used to drink it all the time, but few places sell it so I hadn't had it in ages, and here it is again!!! Happy!!!
You have to try this. The orange syrup (cheong) comes into your mouth together with the latte, and the sweet, fresh yet creamy taste is addictive.

Ta-da! Of course we've got to taste the bagels too.
How is the pepperoni bagel?

Orange Bagel's pepperoni bagel (₩6,300) grabs you with the saltiness and savory depth of nicely toasted pepperoni, with a slight olive flavor lingering at the end. I couldn't believe bagel and pepperoni go this well together, and it was filling and really tasty!
How is the scallion cream bacon bagel?

Orange Bagel's scallion cream bacon bagel (₩8,500) is the most popular bagel right now: sharp scallion, creamy cheese and salty, savory bacon come together with the bagel for rich umami and a one-of-a-kind flavor.
Dense, chewy bagel dough, soft cream cheese, the crunch of scallion and the crispiness of bacon, it's a taste with serious presence! It's an addictive bagel I kept thinking about even after getting home.
Is Orange Bagel in Suwon worth visiting?
Orange Bagel, the Suwon bakery café I visited this time, nails all three: a wide, pleasant, big space, convenient parking, and above all excellent bakery items and drinks.
It's a perfect spot I'd recommend as a Suwon outing on the weekend, eating tasty desserts with family, a partner or friends. If you're looking for somewhere worth visiting in Suwon, don't hesitate and go.
