Seodaemun burger restaurant with Hawaiian burgers: Bas Burger
In short
Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch is a handmade burger restaurant in Seodaemun, Seoul. I tried the Hawaiian Burger and Bas Burger as sets, and the soft buns, juicy patties, and big fresh vegetables worked especially well together. Verdict: a great pick for an easy but filling burger meal.

Handmade burgers with soft buns and juicy patties
A range of handmade burgers, including Hawaiian and mushroom options ♥️ From soft bread to juicy patties + fresh vegetables! Morning burgers are available, along with breakfast items until 10:30. A place where you can enjoy a delicious burger in a wholesome way ✅

Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch: location and hours
Hours are 07:00–20:30 on weekdays and 10:00–20:30 on weekends. It is on B1 of Yonsei Cancer Hospital, 50-1 Yeonse-ro, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. You can check out the price information too!

Bas Burger is on B1 of the Yonsei University Severance Hospital arcade. This little hidden gem has branches at City Hall Station, Gwanghwamun, and Yeouido too 🍔 It is in the arcade food court connected to Yonsei Cancer Hospital. It is also easy to reach from Yonsei University and Sinchon Station :) 🤍

Actually, this was my first time seeing Bas Burger as a brand. Since its branches are mainly in arcades or underground spaces in business districts, it has the feel of a wholesome handmade burger spot aimed a little at office workers 💓

À la carte, set meals, and Egg Morning breakfast
The outside of the restaurant is neat too 🫶🏻 Bas Burger sits among the many restaurants in the food court ♥️ I often saw hospital staff coming here to eat as well. Maybe that means its flavor has already been proven, haha!
À la carte burgers start from ₩7,300, with most priced below ₩10,000 or in the low ₩10,000 range ✔️ Add ₩3,900 to upgrade to a set with 🍟 fries and a 🥤 drink. From 7:00 to 10:30 in the morning, they sell Egg Morning items too >_<!! They are kind of like a McMorning menu.

Employees can get 10% off ✔️ The discount is applied when you order at the counter rather than at the kiosk.

Food-court seating that works well for eating alone
Hospital food courts tend to be crowded, but this is not a bad place to come for a solo burger meal either 💓 An easy yet satisfying handmade burger 🍔✨
If you dine in, you can pick up 🥔 potato chips from the self-service corner, making for an even heartier meal ♥️ (For takeout, they need to be purchased separately.) Ketchup and mayonnaise are ready too :)

The inside is roomier than expected and the seating is tidy, so you can have a comfortable meal here 👅❕ Sometimes I want to quickly eat something easy but filling and take a break, and this is exactly the kind of menu for that ✅
Trying the Hawaiian Burger and Bas Burger
They package everything neatly too 💛 Make sure to grab ketchup and mayonnaise ahead of time. Even the cola is sealed so it will not spill ✔️
Starting with the burger bun, it is soft with a very appetizing look. It even has just the right amount of(?) wrinkles, so it feels good to hold! Maybe because these are quality handmade burgers, the fresh vegetables come in such large, vibrant green pieces—totally my taste 🌱

These are the 🍟 fries that come with the set meal 💓 They are a nice bite-size. Honestly, having them served in a little paper tray like this makes them much easier to eat ✅

The Hawaiian Burger with two slices of pineapple
The Hawaiian Burger has two nicely grilled 🍍 pineapple slices, nutty cheese, fresh vegetables, and 🥓 well-cooked bacon in a wonderfully balanced combination. A flavor that Hawaiian Burger lovers are bound to fall for 💛
Fresh ingredients in the signature Bas Burger
The Bas Burger sold at Bas Burger(?) felt like the main character, so I ordered one on its own 🍔 The 🍅 tomato, 🧅 onion, 🥓 bacon, patty, and everything inside were freshness itself.
Along with the crisp texture of onion and tomato, the soft burger bun compresses in your mouth with each bite and goes so well with the juicy patty 👅🎶 Instead of messy-looking shredded lettuce, it has big pieces of soft, easy-to-eat vegetables, which makes it even nicer to eat 💓

Choose sides and drinks too
There are plenty of side dishes too, including sweet potato fries (₩4,000), onion rings (₩3,500), and Crunchy Chicken (₩6,000) ✔️ Another feature of Bas Burger is that drinks include juice, shakes, and coffee as well ♥️

I wonder if they intentionally have branches almost only in business districts rather than residential areas. Either way, it is a handmade burger gem that is perfect for office workers and anyone wanting a light but filling breakfast, lunch, or dinner 🍔! It feels light, but each ingredient is good quality 💓 It is easier to eat than handmade burgers that are simply huge ✔️
Bas Burger is a handmade burger spot where even the chewy, delicious bun that compresses softly(?) was satisfying ✔️ It is inside the hospital, but right by the entrance, so I recommend it as a good restaurant that is also easy to reach from Sinchon Station 👅
