The weather has suddenly gotten so much hotter that I wanted a fresh, breezy change, so I went to Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station for a new hairstyle. They styled my hair so carefully and delicately, and they picked up exactly the style I wanted, so I loved it. Let me introduce Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station!

Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00, closing at 20:00 on Sundays. Reservations are recommended. You can't park in the building, but there are several public parking lots near Government Complex Gwacheon Station, so parking is easy.

I drove, and since there are so many public lots near Government Complex Gwacheon Station, parking was fairly easy. By subway, it's a 1-minute walk from Exit 11 of Government Complex Gwacheon Station, so access is great :-)

Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station hasn't been open long, but word has already spread about how skilled they are, and lots of people nearby go there. I went on a friend's recommendation, and sure enough, I was very satisfied.

As you'd expect from a newly opened shop, the salon has a strongly polished, clean look. Just walking in put me in a good mood :)

How did the mid-length C-curl perm consultation go?

At Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station, you sip welcome tea while filling out a chart and having your consultation. This is where I made my pitch about the style I wanted :)

To explain what I wanted to my designer more easily, I brought two reference photos. I wanted the fresh, light feel of the left photo but the length of the right one, and I liked that the designer gave me suitable styling advice that took my overall face shape and everyday style into account :)

The white-toned interior and the lush green trees outside the window go together so well, don't they? I also liked how open the salon feels.

The perm process: deep-cleansing shampoo to C-curl setting perm

After we talked through the direction, I got a shampoo first, and it was a deep-cleansing shampoo, so my scalp felt really refreshed :)

This is a Before photo I snapped in a hurry after the shampoo. The curls were all over the place and the length was in-between (Gijang-ae-mae, as we say), so it looked stuffy and kind of messy.

And the setting perm begins, with a look straight out of Medusa! The designer kept carefully checking whether anything felt uncomfortable and whether any rods had slipped out, which made me even happier with it :-)

Mid-length C-curl setting perm results after 2 weeks

This C-curl perm at Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station took over 3 hours from consultation to finish. Ta-da! -0- They put in so much time and care, and it's exactly what I wanted! Maybe because they added plenty of protein treatment suited to my hair condition, the perm came out bouncy with no damage!

Best of all, they taught me a super simple way to style it, which I'm practicing (?) at home. It's been 2 weeks since the perm, and there's no hair damage and the curls are still bouncy, like I just walked out of the salon :-)
