A basic deck I brought back out for tarot certification study
These days, I’ve been super busy with hobbies and studying! English study, body-related study, exercise... and amid all that chaos, there’s one more thing I’m studying: tarot cards, haha. It’s been over a year since I first got into tarot, but I still need a guidebook to interpret the cards properly... lol. So now I’m studying for a certification too.
When I was really into it, I bought all sorts of pretty tarot decks to collect them, but when you’re studying, it’s best to learn with the original deck! So this time, I brought home Soul Waite Tarot Cards, one of the most basic tarot decks, from Tarot Master Jeong Hoe-do!
I already know Tarot Master Jeong Hoe-do very well because I subscribe to the YouTube channel, haha. The readings are thorough and interpreted through a variety of decks. I already had Tarot Master Jeong Hoe-do’s affirmation cards, so I could confidently get these newly released tarot cards too!
A set of 78 cards and a guidebook
The Soul Waite Tarot Cards deck consists of 78 original tarot cards and a guidebook. I’m studying, but combining the cards and interpreting them still feels so difficult. I guess I’ll get used to it if I do it a lot, haha.
A sturdy box that was great for storage
This is what the tarot card box looks like! Its geometric design feels as though it connects our souls. The box is quite sturdy, so it was nice to store the deck right in it without having to find another box!
Ta-da! Opening new cards is always the most thrilling part, lol. Those cards all neatly arranged in order—I just want to shuffle them up... hehe.
Clear illustrations and a smooth feel when spreading
The reason I recommend Tarot Master Jeong Hoe-do’s tarot cards is the artwork~! The lines are a little simpler and easier to read than those on typical cards, so just looking at the pictures made it possible to interpret them to some extent! The cards are soft yet firm, so spreading them feels really nice!!
Here’s a comparison of the illustrations with my Universal Waite deck. They’re much softer and easier to look at, right? They also spread out smoothly, making me feel like a pro, lol.
My June fortune, drawn with affirmation cards
I took out my cards for the first time in a while and did a simple draw for my June fortune along with affirmation cards!! Oh my! I’m starting a new exercise routine in June—could it be the perfect exercise for me? How did the affirmation card say health too, lol? I think I’m going to have a healthy June!
