Saturday lunch ramen restaurant in Ilsan: rich motsu bowl at Gyedan
Gyedan Ramen Ilsan Main Branch is a tonkotsu ramen restaurant on Bamlidan-gil in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi. On a Saturday lunch there was no wait, and two diners shared motsu ramen ordered "jinhage" (rich), the standard Gyedan Ramen and tamago-bap (egg rice): the makchang was not chewy and the broth tasted deep with a clean finish. Stirring in a little of the table's spicy secret sauce partway through turns one bowl into two different flavors.
