Nampo sushi restaurant with a two-person set: Moshi Moshi Sushi

My husband and I visited Moshi Moshi Sushi Lotte Department Store Gwangbok (모시모시 스시 롯데백화점 광복점) for a meal. We chose a two-person set pairing sushi with chashu and noodles, which let us share several kinds of sushi.

How do you get there from Nampo Station, and is parking available?

The restaurant is in the dining area on the 10th floor of the main building at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok, 2 Jungang-daero, Jung-gu, Busan. It is within walking distance of Nampo Station, and using the department store parking lot made driving convenient. It was also well located for shopping at the department store before or after the meal.

The hours listed in the original post were daily from 10:30 AM to 9 PM. Last orders were at 8:10 PM, with no break time listed. Naver Booking and Catchtable were also said to be available.

What is the seating like? Is it suitable for visiting with a baby?

The overall atmosphere was neat, with bar seats suited to solo diners and tables for larger groups. We visited as a couple, but it also looked easy enough to move around with a stroller. High chairs were available too.

What comes with the two-person set, and how much is it?

Beyond sushi, there were several set meals and Japanese dishes. With options ranging from individual meals to sets for sharing, I thought it would be easy to choose something even with companions who do not eat much sushi.

We ordered Set 2, which included 16 pieces of sushi, chashu, and one type of noodles. We chose the Better option over the Good option, which cost ₩66,900. We selected tonkotsu ramen for the noodles and paid an additional ₩2,000.

First, we were served vegetable salad, tofu salad, rakkyo (pickled scallion bulbs), pickled ginger, and danmuji (yellow pickled radish).

What was included in the Better sushi option, and how did it taste?

I was told that choosing the Better option changes the toppings. That day, the sushi included flounder, salmon, tuna, yukhoe (seasoned raw beef), shrimp, abalone, and eel.

The flounder was mild and clean-tasting, making it a good one to start with, while the salmon was soft and rich. The tuna was mild with a subtle savory flavor. The yukhoe sushi paired its lightly sweet seasoning well with the tender raw beef.

The shrimp was springy and lightly sweet, and I especially liked the chewy texture of the abalone. The eel sushi combined a sweet-salty sauce with soft eel. It was fun to try one of each kind.

Was it filling with chashu and ramen too?

We also enjoyed the chashu and tonkotsu ramen. Having those side dishes made the meal feel much more filling than sushi alone. Next time, I would like to try the momil (buckwheat noodles) and shrimp tempura as well.

At the time the original post was written, a Naver receipt review event was advertised as offering two shrimp sushi pieces.

It was a good place for two people to share sushi and side dishes, then browse the department store before or after eating. With neat seating and high chairs, it is also worth considering for a family meal.
