Sinseol-dong set-meal restaurant with stone-pot galbi: Hansang Charyim

Hansang Charyim Bapsang Sinseol-dong is a Korean set-meal (hansang) restaurant 238m from Exit 3 of Sinseol-dong Station in Dongdaemun, Seoul. The writer ordered the hansang bossam set for 15,000 won and the stone-pot galbi set for 19,000 won, and the table arrived with more banchan than two people could finish — seasoned dried squid, myeongi (pickled wild garlic leaves), salted squid — plus doenjang jjigae and nurungji scraped from the stone pot. Hansang Charyim Bapsang Sinseol-dong is a good-value pick when you want grilled meat and a full spread of side dishes in one sitting.
