Working Holiday Minrak is an Australian-style brunch café in Suyeong, Busan, with views of Gwangalli Beach and Gwangan Bridge. On a rainy day, I enjoyed a panuozzo sandwich, chicken avocado sandwich, and shrimp oil pasta amid its stylish interior, plus easy basement parking and a 9 AM opening. Verdict: Working Holiday Minrak is a brunch stop I want to revisit again and again.

Suwon Korean BBQ with skillet fried rice: Taejang Sikdang

Taejang Sikdang Suwon Station Branch is a Korean barbecue restaurant near Suwon Station in Suwon, Gyeonggi. We grilled three portions of 4 mm frozen pork belly with kimchi and bean sprouts, added one more portion, then finished with skillet fried rice. Verdict: a friendly, retro spot for a satisfyingly full pork belly meal.
