A Jeonpo Café Street spot for bread and coffee together
Upper East Bakery (어퍼이스트베이커리) is a bakery café on Jeonpo Café Street. It's not just a takeout counter: you can sit in and have your bread with coffee. It's one of my favorite Jeonpo cafés. I am seriously a bread girl, I love bread sooo much~~~ and this Jeonpo café has really good bakery items, so I had to recommend it haha. It's perfect for when you want bread with your coffee.

Upper East Bakery location and opening hours
Upper East Bakery is on the 2nd floor of the Pickles building at 62-14 Seojeon-ro 46beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, and it's open every day from 11:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:30). For anyone asking "which Jeonpo café should I go to?", this is my pick!!

There's an outdoor terrace too, and with the nice weather lately, eating outside like this would be lovely! Doesn't it look perfect for a weekend brunch haha. Just thinking about it is healing!
What's the inside of Upper East Bakery like?
When you walk into Upper East Bakery, you can see bread coming out of the oven again and again. The moment you step in, the smell of baking bread is so good it lifts your mood!

You can see right into the kitchen, and the green view outside makes you feel really calm.

There are seats here and there like this, so you can have bread and coffee together haha. You can also just order a drink! We didn't use the café this day and took everything to go, but we decided to come back next weekend for bread and coffee as a brunch haha. It's a relaxed, comfortable Jeonpo café.

Upper East Bakery pastry selection and prices
Croissants and kouign-amann (Breton butter pastry) at Upper East Bakery are in the ₩5,000s, and the hot dog and apple pie are in the ₩6,000s. Now on to browsing the bread haha

Wow... croissants and kouign-amann in the ₩5,000s. They're really big! They smell great and look so tempting ㅠㅠ

I liked that there's a wide variety, like cinnamon and pistachio, so you can pick to your taste.

Croissants have the most variety: double chocolate, tiramisu, almond, custard cream, matcha cream and more! They all looked so good that I agonized over what to get for ages.

The hot dog and apple pie are in the ₩6,000s, and they're huge and felt hefty when I picked them up.

There's a good variety of tarts too! Tart boxes are available separately for gift wrapping, so keep that in mind!

Taking home an apple pie, egg tart and almond croissant: how they tasted
I took home three things from Upper East Bakery: an apple pie, an egg tart and an almond croissant. They all look so tempting, right haha. If you're a bread person, this Jeonpo café is a must.

The packaging was neat too: each item wrapped individually and put in a paper bag.

Apple pie: moist, with big chunks of apple
The apple pie I ate as soon as I got home! It's really moist, the apples inside are big, and it's so mild and tasty!!! I really recommend this one. It was sooo good with coffee haha. A Jeonpo café with great desserts.

Almond croissant: mild and nutty when warmed up
Next, the almond croissant~ I ate this one the next day haha. I warmed it up and cut it with scissors into bite-size pieces, yum~~ It's mild, with the nuttiness of almond on top, so good good good haha.
The egg tart went to a friend
And the egg tart... a friend eyed it and said it looked so good, so I gave it to her right away lol. She asked where I bought it, said it was delicious and thanked me! I recommend Upper East Bakery as a Jeonpo café where you can enjoy bread and coffee at the same time.
