Garden brunch café in Cheonan: Pino Cafe Cheonan

Can you enjoy a garden and brunch in Pungse, Cheonan?

I visited Pino Cafe Cheonan (피노카페 천안) in Pungse-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan. It is a little outside the busy area, so it was nice to combine the visit with a drive. This time, I looked around the garden and had three brunch and Western-style dishes for an early dinner.

Where is a good spot for garden photos?

As I entered, I could see a yellow cosmos flower field in the distance. I went out to the garden to take photos as soon as I had ordered, and I liked the photos I took with the flower field behind me. At the time of my visit, it was the photo spot I remembered most.

What are the indoor space and outdoor tent area like?

The indoor space caught my eye with its charming decor. Sitting by the window, I could look out at the garden landscaping, which made it feel like a small outing. There is also an annex, so it seemed well suited to spending time with family or a group as well as on a date.

There was also a private outdoor tent area. When I went inside, it was cool, making it a pleasant place to stay while enjoying the outdoor atmosphere.

What did I have for an early dinner?

There was a wide selection, from brunch and baked goods to Western-style meals. For an early dinner, we ordered rose bulgogi risotto, a croissant sandwich set, and pastry corn-cheese pizza.

What was the texture of the rose bulgogi risotto like?

The rose bulgogi risotto had plenty of bulgogi on top of a smooth, rich rose sauce. I liked that the grains of rice had a pleasant bite rather than being mushy, and my companion also said it was delicious.

What comes with the croissant sandwich set?

The crisp, flaky croissant was filled with vegetables and potato salad. It came on one plate with salad, French fries, and sausage, along with one sauce.

What does the pastry corn-cheese pizza taste like?

The pastry corn-cheese pizza had a flaky, crisp crust, so I enjoyed its nutty flavor right to the edge. Sweet corn went well with the salty, stretchy cheese, and it was also nice with a drink.

How was it for a date or family outing?

Being able to take photos in the flower field and eat while looking over the garden made it feel suited to a date. My parents, who came with me, also liked the natural scenery and Western-style dishes. It was the kind of place that would come to mind when I wanted to linger with family after a drive. Pets are also allowed at this café.
