Cheonan brunch café with a garden: Pino Cafe Cheonan

In short

Pino Cafe Cheonan is a café in Pungse-myeon, Cheonan, where I had brunch and snowflake milk patbingsu with my family. We liked the spacious parking lot and garden views through the main building’s large windows, though heavy rain kept us from fully exploring the outdoor photo zones and cosmos field.

After finishing our Cheonan trip and before heading home, my family and I stopped by Pino Cafe Cheonan for brunch. We planned to have a light meal and coffee, but my parents especially liked the expansive outdoor garden.

Where is Pino Cafe Cheonan, and is parking convenient?

Pino Cafe Cheonan is at 99-23 Hyuyangnim-gil, Pungse-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan. The original post lists its hours as 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM every day, and says it is open year-round.

Because we were traveling with a child, parking and space mattered to us too. The parking lot was spacious, making it easy to visit by car. There was plenty of room inside and outside the café, so it felt suitable for families.

What are the main building and annex like?

The café is divided into a main building, where you order, and an annex. The main building has wide windows looking out onto the outdoor garden. It rained heavily on the day we visited, but being able to see outside from indoors kept the space from feeling closed in.

The annex had large windows and a calm feel. Its seating was neatly arranged, and it also had a separate restroom.

What can children see in the garden?

There were several photo zones outside, so we briefly went out with umbrellas to take pictures. A butterfly, Pinocchio, and a small cabin created the feel of a storybook village. There were moving flowers inside the cabin too, making it a nice place to take photos with children.

There was also a cosmos field and a red windmill. I thought the cosmos field would be nice for taking photos with my parents. Still, because of the rain, we could not walk around the entire garden.

There were plenty of places to sit outdoors as well. If I return on a nice day, I would like to take my time around the garden, sit down, and look at the flowers.

Are dogs and tent rentals allowed?

Dogs are allowed, and campnic tents can be rented here. The original post also introduces a summer-only event offering free two-hour tent use. It does not state the event end date or detailed terms of use.

What brunch and meal options are available?

Along with drinks, there was a wide range of meal options including platters, pasta, risotto, pizza, and salads. The original post also introduces a Happy Hour set, available on weekdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a sandwich, drink, and mini salad. Exact prices are not listed.

How were the brunch and bingsu we ordered?

We ordered the Special Lunch, a misutgaru latte (roasted grain powder latte), lemonade, and snowflake milk patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans). While choosing brunch, the patbingsu caught our eye, so we had that too.

We were happy with both the selection and flavor of the Special Lunch. The fries kept drawing us back because of the sauce, and a family member said the croissant was crisp as soon as they took a bite. It also had a subtle buttery aroma.

The snowflake milk patbingsu had the familiar soft texture I expected. It was topped with ice cream and injeolmi powder (roasted soybean powder), and the rice cakes were large enough to fill a bite.

I also enjoyed the misutgaru latte. I do not like drinks that feel overly thick and heavy, but this one was pleasantly thick and sweet.

Was it still good for a family visit on a rainy day?

I was disappointed that we could not fully enjoy the garden and cosmos field. Still, the spacious parking lot and garden views through the large windows let us spend a relaxed time indoors, having a meal and dessert as a family. Next time, I would like to visit on a clear day and take my time exploring the outdoor space.
