Bingsu (Korean shaved ice dessert) is the king of summer desserts! On the way to Paju we had a hearty meal, then headed to Fruit Forest, a Paju bingsu spot near Simhaksan, for dessert. Fruit bingsu made with seasonal fresh fruit? How could it not be good, hehe 🤤🤤
Where is Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store, and is there parking?

The inside of Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store is spacious, with generous spacing between tables and a bright feel thanks to the large windows. There are group seats for 6 or more and outdoor terrace seats too.
The interior is clean and pleasant, with lots of space and roomy table spacing, so it's good for families as well as friends or couples who want to spend a relaxed time.
The overall mood is bright and fresh, and the big windows give it an open feel, so I could stay comfortably without feeling cramped.
There are also group seats for 6 or more, so a surprisingly large party can sit together,
and with outdoor terrace seats too, it looks like a nice place to eat bingsu while enjoying the view on a good-weather day!

The fridge on one side of the store is packed with all kinds of fresh fruit, and just seeing it, you can tell this is a real fruit bingsu place.
Besides bingsu and fruit drinks, you can buy fresh fruit separately, so if the fruit tastes good, you can pick some up on your way home! Being able to buy it by the piece is a big plus 👍
They take the displayed fresh fruit and prepare it by hand the moment you order. Not frozen fruit, not pre-cut fruit, but fruit prepared to order. The owner is clearly serious about fruit,, 🥹 Since it's made with well-ripened fresh fruit, I think you can trust the taste and quality!
How was the fresh mango snow bingsu?
The fresh mango snow bingsu at Fruit Forest is ₩28,000, piled with so much fresh mango that the ice is hidden, and comes with cheesecake cubes and ice cream. The ice underneath is milk ice, so it's soft, and the mango was sweet enough that I didn't need the mango sauce.
I heard the fresh mango bingsu is especially good among the fruit bingsu, so I ordered the fresh mango snow bingsu! They piled on so much mango that you couldn't see the ice underneath. I was touched,,
With cheesecake cubes and ice cream on top of the heaped fresh mango, it was even more varied and delicious!
There was so much mango that I could eat it with mango until the very end, and the ice below is made from milk, so the texture is soft and goes so well with the mango. Above all, the mango is really sweet and delicious,, 🤤🧡
After you've eaten a good amount of the mango on top, mango sauce is also provided to go with the milk ice, but the mango itself is so generous and sweet that personally I enjoyed it just fine without adding any sauce.
