A healthy bread spot made with natural levain! I picked up some bread to go from Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch. Apparently it's so popular with locals that things sell out early~

Where is Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch, and can you reserve bread?

Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch is at 109 Chorongkkot-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, 1st floor of Farm Tower. It's closed every Monday and accepts local currency.

You can reserve bread through Naver. Baguette, salt bread, and cornet pie all have a limit on how many you can order. They even have a Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) gift set with marron pie available for reservation~! Good to know if you're looking for a Paju Chuseok dessert gift.

Parking: 2 free hours in the Farm Tower underground lot

You get 2 hours free parking at the Farm Tower underground lot. Note it's Farm Tower, not Farm Smart!!! Just mention parking when you pay for your bread~

Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch bakes and sells everything same-day. It's a healthy bread bakery you can trust, made with good ingredients like organic French flour and natural butter.

Looks like you can sample the bread too~ It's a small space since it's takeout-only, but customers kept streaming in — you could really tell it's a popular bakery.

I was worried a lot would be sold out visiting around 4pm on a weekday, but thankfully there was still quite a variety.

Unfortunately there was only one kind of sandwich left, though. I was curious about the jambon-beurre and carrot rapée sandwiches~ I ended up buying 2 of the remaining apple brie ciabatta sandwiches.

They also sell strawberry jam, chestnut spread, and coffee beans.

I'd read reviews of Boulangerie Tan saying the milk cream salt bread was good, so I picked one up too. They also had tiramisu and fig chiffon cake, which seems handy when you just need a simple cake.

They also sell dippable fresh cream~ The cornet pie was sold out. Next time I'll come earlier and definitely grab a corn cornet pie haha.

They use Lescure Charentes-Poitou AOP butter~

Apple brie ciabatta sandwich, 9,200 won: how it tastes

I took the bread home and ate it there. The apple brie ciabatta sandwich was ₩9,200, and the milk cream salt bread was ₩4,200.

The sandwich was packaged so neatly it looked like great picnic material.

The ciabatta was quite hard and chewy. It gave off baguette vibes right up to the roof of your mouth? If you like hard bread, you'll probably love this!

Apple, brie cheese, ham, and arugula are all packed in. Overall it's a healthy flavor, not too strong or overpowering!

Eating one whole sandwich fills you up completely haha.

Milk cream salt bread, 4,200 won: cream that isn't too sweet

The milk cream salt bread needs to be refrigerated!

The cream is packed all the way through. I normally don't like cream breads because they're usually too sweet! This one's milk cream wasn't very sweet at all, so it was really delicious. Thank you to whoever recommended it haha. The soft, nutty milk cream is a flavor kids would love too!! I'd recommend it as a snack.
