Munkkocchi Mungangjeong (문꼬치문강정) Jeonju Hanok Village Branch is a street-snack stall selling octopus and chicken skewers on Eunhaeng-ro in Wansan-gu, Jeonju, near Gyeonggijeon Shrine. On a weekend visit the writer queued, ordered a cheese octopus skewer, a katsuo (bonito flake) octopus skewer and a chicken skewer at the kiosk, and found the fire-grilled cheese octopus skewer neither tough nor fishy, even as someone who rarely enjoys octopus. Munkkocchi's cheese octopus skewer is worth trying as a Jeonju Hanok Village walking snack, even if octopus isn't usually your thing.
