I went to Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch, a Seolleung Station spot said to be great at Peking duck~~!

Where is Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch?
Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch is located at 30 Seolleung-ro 86-gil, B1, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Seolleung Station, so it's easy to get to by public transit. It was also really easy to spot from outside~
The exterior, which looked like something out of a Hong Kong movie, caught my eye right away. Going down the stairs from the entrance to the basement, an interior dominated by a bold red color appeared.

Hong Kong-style interior and open kitchen at Mirim Yangjang
The inside of Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch is a red-toned space that feels like a local Hong Kong restaurant with a touch of upscale Chinese dining added. Seeing celebrity autographs on the wall, it must be a well-known spot~ There were coat hangers too, which seemed handy for hanging up jackets!

Overall, the atmosphere reminded me of a local Hong Kong restaurant with an added layer of upscale Chinese dining feel, and the exotic vibe was quite impressive.

In particular, the space where the Peking ducks are prepared at Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch is a fully glass-walled open kitchen, so you can watch the cooking process directly. I could see the Peking ducks aging inside too, and they were quite sizable, which really gave off that specialty Peking duck restaurant feel hahahaha.

Does Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch have private rooms?
Yes, Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch has private rooms available. Inside the rooms, coat hangers and aprons are provided, and you can even charge your phone, which seemed great for a private dining experience~
The tables were also spacious, so it seemed like a good option not only for a Seolleung Station lunch but also for a family meal out or a Seolleung Station company dinner.

Mirim Yangjang menu and QR code ordering
At Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch you order by scanning the QR code at each table, and set menus were also available~! Besides Peking duck, there was dongpo pork, mala tang, five-spice sliced meat, shark fin, dim sum items like siu mai and spring rolls and steamed dumplings, plus fried eggplant and tangsuyuk — a menu lineup that really fit a premium Chinese restaurant.
There were a lot of dishes I don't normally get to try easily, so it was fun just browsing the menu hahaha. There's also an egg noodle giveaway for a review event~~! We ordered half a Peking duck and garlic scape pork fried rice that day.

The basic side dishes were crisp, refreshing bean sprouts and sweet peanuts, which were nice for whetting the appetite.
Half Peking duck at Mirim Yangjang: portion and taste
Even though it was only half a duck, the portion at Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch was bigger than expected, and the glossy visual alone looked really appetizing!! The Peking duck came pre-sliced into easy-to-eat pieces, and even at a glance the crispy-looking skin and moist flesh stood out.

The outside was crispy while the inside was moist, and the distinctive savory duck flavor came through well. The fat wasn't excessive either, so it was easy to eat without feeling weighed down.
Piling duck meat, scallion strands, and cucumber onto a wheat pancake, dipping it in hoisin sauce, and rolling it up makes it easy for even Peking duck first-timers to enjoy~~! I also liked that the pancakes and vegetables came with free refills, no extra charge.

For me, the tastiest combo was piling on the basic scallion strands plus extra hoisin sauce!

Free egg noodles from the Naver review event
I also tried the egg noodles I got from the Naver review event — chewy noodles with a light yet savory flavor that went well alongside the Peking duck hahaha.

Does garlic scape pork fried rice go well with Peking duck?
The garlic scape pork fried rice was slightly spicy, and right around the point where the duck alone started to feel a bit rich, it snapped my appetite right back~! It was delicious haha.

Who is Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch best for?
If you're looking for a date spot near Seolleung Station, or mulling over where to go for a family meal or company dinner, I'd recommend Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch~~! From textbook crispy-outside, juicy-inside Peking duck to a wide range of premium Chinese dishes, this place delivers!

It was a Seolleung spot I'd want to revisit whenever I want to enjoy special Chinese dishes in an upscale atmosphere haha. Next time I plan to come with friends and order a bunch of different things^^
